I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling and over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, families, and couples across a wide range of settings, including dual diagnosis programs, residential treatment centers, county behavioral health clinics, and law-enforcement–affiliated crisis response teams.

My work alongside multiple police departments, providing crisis intervention in high-stress and high-risk situations, has shaped my ability to remain grounded, compassionate, and effective even during life’s most overwhelming moments. I bring that same calm and steady presence into the therapy room.

I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 28 years. I have worked in a Foster Care agency, as a Clinical Supervisor at a Children's Clinic in East LA and at a Drug, Alcohol, and Mental Health Facility. I also provided therapy for our military.

I'm a Marriage and Family Therapist based in Los Angeles and love this work. I came to therapy through an unconventional path — nearly a decade in film and photography, work as a youth counselor, and service in the military — all of which deeply shaped how I understand people and their stories.

I earned my master's degree from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I focused on psychodynamic and depth-oriented approaches. My thesis centered on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, a specialty I've continued developing through advanced trainings I've completed.

I work with individuals, couples, adolescents & families across a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have a particular love for working with creative professionals, veterans and young adults. I'm LGBTQ+ affirmative and love working with folks from the queer community.

My practice spans traditional talk therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) — including psychedelic integration support for those processing experiences outside of our work together. I live in Los Angeles, and work in-person or hybrid, with adults, teens, couples and the aging population. I specialize in anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, work stress/dissatisfaction, career goals, sleep disorders, substance use, trauma (ptsd/complex/acute), obsessive compulsive disorders (OCD/OCPD), attention deficit disorders (ADD/ADHD). In addition I deal with grief, isolation, and breaking creative blocks.

My background includes earning a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a lifelong appreciation for personal growth, nature, and the healing power of connection. Growing up learning to surf fostered a deep respect for the ocean and the lessons it offers about resilience, balance, and adapting to life's changing conditions. These experiences have shaped my belief in the importance of honoring each individual’s journey and recognizing that growth often comes through both challenge and reflection.
