Hello everyone! My name is Roy Chambers IV. I work with children, adolescents, and adults while specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, adhd, grief, and stress. I have 7 years of experience with children, adolescents, and adults.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who believes therapy should be a space where you feel understood, respected, and free to be yourself. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples, with a focus on anxiety, depression, anger, relationships, life transitions, autism, ADHD, and neurodivergence. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and create meaningful, fulfilling lives.
Your Story. Your Purpose. Your Identity. Healing isn't about becoming someone new—it's about uncovering who you've always been. Life has a way of shaping us. Painful experiences, trauma, loss, relationships, and fear can leave us carrying beliefs and protective patterns that once helped us survive, but now no longer serve us. Together, we'll explore your story, heal unresolved wounds, challenge limiting beliefs, and reconnect with the authentic identity that's been there all along.
I specialize in Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar, anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm, identity/LGBTQIA+ concerns, ADHD, and relationship/couples issues.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Doctorate in Social Work, and I bring both clinical expertise and real life understanding into the therapy space. My professional background includes years of direct clinical practice as well as leadership roles in complex, high stress systems, including serving as a Mental Health Director. These experiences have shaped my ability to support individuals who are navigating pressure, responsibility, and emotional overwhelm while still being expected to function at a high level.
I work best with clients who are strong on the outside but struggling internally. Many of the people I support are women, mothers, professionals, caregivers, and helpers who are used to showing up for others while neglecting their own emotional needs. I have a particular passion for working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, imposter syndrome, burnout, life transitions, relationship stress, identity concerns, and trauma related to past or ongoing stressors.
Therapy with me is not about having all the answers. It is about learning how to trust yourself, set healthy boundaries, and show up for your life with more compassion and confidence.
Chris is a Licensed Professional Counselor with several years of experience delivering holistic, trauma-informed, and client-centered care. His integrative therapeutic approach draws on Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and multicultural counseling. As a therapist, his goal is to empower you to tap into your inner strength and resilience, giving you the tools to reclaim control over your life. He strives to create a space that is compassionate and empathetic; a space where you can express yourself freely and without judgement. Chris collaborates with clients to address life’s transitions, chronic health concerns, trauma, grief, stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, and identity-related issues.
Hi, and welcome — I'm really glad you're here. I've been a licensed therapist for 8 years, and in that time I've sat with people through just about every kind of hard season: anxiety that won't let up, depression that makes everything feel heavy, the pull of substance use, anger that's costing you relationships, or a life transition that's left you unsure of who you are right now. Wherever you're starting from, you don't have to sort it out alone.
I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, anger management, relationship struggles, and the specific pressures that come with men's and women's issues. I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Troy University, and what grounds my work is a simple belief: change is possible for anyone willing to be honest with themselves — and I'll be right there alongside you for it.
Hi! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I am Romalyn Aaron, but you can call me Roma (like the tomato!). I have worked with a wide range of mental health disorders from adjustment disorders to anxiety and depression. I specialize in trauma, substance use disorders, familial relationship hardships, crisis intervention, and behavioral management. I obtained both a bachelor and a master degrees in psychology, a master in human services, a master in education, a master in counseling and doctoral level education specialist. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Education (EdD) in Community Mental Health Traumatology specialty. I am an Army combat Veteran with experience in working with Veterans and their families and connecting them with community services and resources.
