I’ve been where you are. As someone in long-term recovery, I understand the challenges firsthand and bring both empathy and 11 years of professional counseling experience to support you in finding your own path and developing your strengths. I work with adolescents, people struggling with substance use, and those facing anxiety, depression, grief, or trauma.
I specialize in working with individuals in recovery and LGBTQ+ clients, helping you build resilience, explore your goals, and discover practical strategies that fit your life.
My approach is collaborative and empowering—you set the pace, and I walk alongside you with understanding, guidance, and support as you create meaningful change and uncover the strengths you already have within.
Are you tired of being the strong one? I work with adults, high-achievers—the fixers, leaders, and eldest siblings who are used to taking care of everyone else but are secretly running on empty.
My primary treatment areas include:
- Anxiety & Overthinking: Helping you quiet the racing thoughts and find relief from that constant, "on-edge" feeling.
- Burnout Recovery: Providing practical tools for professionals and caretakers who are emotionally exhausted and operating on fumes.
- Life Transitions: Navigating the disorienting, messy middle of major life, career, or relationship changes.
In our sessions, you don’t need a script - just show up as you are. Together, we will turn your stress and constant overthinking into practical, manageable tools that you can use the moment our session ends.
You don't have to carry this heavy load alone anymore—let's work through it together.
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in direct practice and leadership. Much of my work has focused on supporting children and families through trauma and daunting times. I help clients recognize their strengths and move forward with crisis intervention, practical tools, education, helpful resources, and compassionate care. I believe healing can begin with feeling understood, supported, and less alone.

As a therapist, I specialize in trauma recovery and the treatment of phobias, using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) with children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5 to 25. Together, we’ll work to uncover strengths, build resilience, and find practical tools to help you or your child move forward.
In addition to EMDR, I’m trained in multiple trauma-informed approaches, including Sandtray Therapy and Play Therapy. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all method to healing, so I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs and preferences.
I also offer parent support through dedicated "Parent Sessions," where I provide coaching, education, and guidance to help families support their child’s growth and healing at home. I view therapy as a family-centered process — not just individual work — and I'm passionate about empowering caregivers along the way.
I provide both in-person and virtual sessions through Bending Willows Wellness PLLC in the San Antonio area. I am licensed in Texas and offer virtual therapy to clients across the state. Virtual sessions are available for ages 8 and up, while children ages 5–7 are seen in person.
