Hello, I'm a licensed professional counselor and supervisor based in Texas. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Texas and my master's degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. My focus is primarily on assisting teens and adults who face an array of challenges such as managing anger, coping with anxiety and depression, dealing with trauma/abuse, addressing relationship issues, and adapting to life changes.
I’m here to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be truly heard. I care deeply about helping people work through trauma, improve relationships, strengthen self-esteem, and build confidence. My goal is to help you grow at your own pace and give you the tools to navigate life with more ease and independence.
Professionally, I have spent a decade in education (five years as a classroom teacher and five years as a school counselor). This is my third year as a therapist outside of the school setting.
For my masters degree, I attended Texas State University in San Marcos, TX (Eat 'em up cats!). At Texas State, I completed my MA in Professional Counseling with two focuses: school counseling and clinical mental health.
As a former educator, the populations I support include adolescents, young adults, educators, parents/guardians, and caretakers.
I am a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor, perpetually curious about your stories and perspectives. I specialize in treating individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, and have a history of relational trauma. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, body positive, trauma sensitive, culturally sensitive, sex-positive, and mindful of neurodivergencies and abilities.
With a collaborative, creative and strengths-focused approach, I provide therapy to individuals and couples, covering issues including resolving troubles, communicating effectively, meeting challenges, or dealing with addiction. I’m a licensed professional counselor, and my integrative and holistic approach is able to help you with a very broad range of topics.
