I am a licensed mental health professional dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with empathy, clarity, and evidence‐based care.
I’m a licensed clinical therapist in Texas with a master’s degree in Direct Practice Social Work, earned in 2016; proudly a first-generation college graduate! I believe everyone's background, values and traditions shape how they understand healing, connection, and resilience. I have always been one to honor and respect the diverse cultural identities, traditions, and lived experiences in others and within myself. Throughout the years, I've been attuned to how therapeutic experiences can show up in different ways when one is open in empathy, self-awareness and commitment to make positive changes.
My practice is rooted in trauma-informed, holistic therapy—supporting the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected pathways to healing. I believe therapy is a deeply personal journey that unfolds through curiosity, compassion, and self-awareness. Through an integrative lens in our sessions, my goal is to help you feel grounded, empowered, and supported —co-creating a safe, calming space where you can tune into yourself, process what’s been heavy, rediscover your strengths and find lasting healing on every level.

Hello, I’m Dr Wiesner. I have a PhD in counseling. I was a professor teaching graduate students for seven years. During this time I was the director of a ten room counseling clinic at the university. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor for those new to the field, a Nationally Certified Counselor, and a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
I strive to be respectful and care about clients achieving their goals as quickly as possible. I taught diagnoses nine semesters at the university. I have published several research papers in peer reviewed journals and have made 7 presentations at the state and national level. I taught research methods and statistics but what really matters to me aren’t my degrees etc..but wanting you to live a zest filled life.
I have a degree in engineering and a MBA but left engineering to focus on assisting clients find and achieve goals that are important to them. Engineering trained me to think logically and to problem solve with an emphasis on practical issues and being practical. Practical and long lasting results is my focus.
I’m a member of Mensa and have been in the American Counseling Association and the Texas Counseling Association. While I have treated a long list of issues my main focus has been working with couples, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and past trauma.
If you choose me I would feel honored to help as best I can. I work with age ranges from six year olds to seniors. I like to say I want difficult and complex cases but you are not a case.
For me, I aim to help others transform their lives through compassionate, personalized care (with plenty of humor along the way). I specialize in working with people of color, student-athletes, and those who are neurodivergent. If you’re neurodivergent and reading this, you’ve finally found someone who specializes in and deeply understands your unique perspective. Whether seeking clarity on behaviors, understanding how you interpret the world, or navigating challenges, I am here to help.
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely safe, heard, and understood. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can openly process your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences without feeling rushed or criticized. I understand that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, so I approach each client with compassion, curiosity, and respect for their unique story and lived experience.
My style is warm, relational, and conversational while still grounded in evidence-based practices. I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand emotional patterns, increase self-awareness, strengthen communication, and develop practical tools they can use outside of sessions. I value creating a therapeutic relationship that feels authentic and empowering, where clients can feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and moving at a pace that feels manageable for them.
I work with individuals navigating stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, emotional overwhelm, and patterns that may leave them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. Together, we focus on creating meaningful and sustainable change while also making space for reflection, healing, and personal growth.

Hey there! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in the mental health field for five years. I have experience specializing in working with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of their next steps. Together, we focus on building clarity, emotional regulation skills, and practical strategies that support meaningful change.
Hi, I’m Liz. I’m a bilingual therapist, and I feel most authentic when I can move naturally between both languages. I’m a Texan through and through, with plenty of Tex Mex Spanglish to show for it. I connect deeply with clients who are navigating family issues, generational trauma, cultural expectations, and the process of outgrowing beliefs or roles they were taught as children. I enjoy helping clients understand themselves better by exploring attachment patterns, nervous system responses, relationships, and the gap between who they were raised to be and who they are becoming. I have a heart for working with families, children, and parents because I believe it is easier to help children build healthier coping skills early than to wait until they are struggling later in life. I also find deep meaning in working with adults who are healing their inner child, breaking cycles, and learning how to live in a way that feels more honest and whole. My work often supports clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, parenting concerns, and life transitions.
