I have worked with Veterans, women and men diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, women diagnosed with breast cancer, and individuals experiencing substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. I am licensed in the states of Texas and Iowa.
I’m a licensed clinical therapist in Texas with a master’s degree in Direct Practice Social Work, earned in 2016; proudly a first-generation college graduate! I believe everyone's background, values and traditions shape how they understand healing, connection, and resilience. I have always been one to honor and respect the diverse cultural identities, traditions, and lived experiences in others and within myself. I graduated from Texas A&M -Commerce in December of 2014 with a master is counseling. I am trained in family counseling, and untraditional families(LGBTQ and poly) counseling.

My ultimate goal is to assist clients in establishing attainable goals, and supporting them as they work to obtain improved functioning overall in their daily lives. I received both my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education from the University of St. Thomas, in Houston, and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2018.

Those populations include: homeless persons, LGBTQ+, those with chemical dependency, those living with HIV/AIDS, adolescents, college students, incarcerated persons, and senior adults. My experience and education has afforded me the opportunity to provide psychotherapy (which includes teletherapy), group therapy, consultation, and outreach services.
