I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a background in nursing across a range of mental health settings, including outpatient care and higher-acuity environments. My training has focused on assessing, diagnosing, and treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, and substance use, using both medication management and psychotherapy. I completed advanced graduate education in psychiatric-mental health nursing, which prepared me to provide holistic, evidence-based care across the lifespan and to collaborate closely with other members of the treatment team.
I am a double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC, FNP-C) with over 15 years of nursing experience and clinical practice as a family nurse practitioner since 2020. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults, including comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and supportive treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, personality disorders, and other behavioral health concerns. My goal is to partner with patients in achieving optimal mental wellness and improved quality of life through individualized, patient-centered care and active therapeutic collaboration

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in Texas. I have several years of experience in therapy with children, teens and adolescents. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in direct practice and leadership. Much of my work has focused on supporting children and families through trauma and daunting times. I help clients recognize their strengths and move forward with crisis intervention, practical tools, education, helpful resources, and compassionate care. I believe healing can begin with feeling understood, supported, and less alone.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nine years as a teacher, where I discovered how powerful compassion, patience, and understanding can be in helping others grow. Later, my work in psychiatric and residential treatment settings gave me the opportunity to walk alongside individuals and families during some of their most difficult moments. Those experiences shaped me into the therapist I am today—someone who values safety, trust, and genuine human connection above all else.
Working in treatment centers taught me how to meet people exactly where they are, without judgment. I learned to listen deeply, to hold space for pain, and to help others find calm and strength even when life feels overwhelming. These experiences strengthened my ability to support clients through trauma, depression, anxiety, and self-esteem challenges, and to help them rediscover their resilience and sense of empowerment.
My approach is holistic and person-centered, and I strive to create a warm, nurturing environment where you feel safe to be yourself. Together, we’ll work at your own pace, exploring your story and building tools to help you heal, grow, and move toward a greater sense of peace and balance.
