“I don't even know what I'd say.”
If that is what is stopping you, you are exactly who I work with. Maybe you are anxious and cannot name why. Maybe your feelings come faster than you can handle. Maybe you have tried therapy and left feeling like you failed at it.
You didn't. It just wasn't built for you.
So we start differently. Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we move or create. Then we build skills that hold up when things get hard.
The goal is not to make you easier. It is to help you feel more like yourself.
I am an aspiring musician who loves movies, music, and love fantasy books. I became a counselor to help myself and others better understand feeelings and to be more present and get more out of life. I believe therapy is most effective when it is connective and personal.
During my undergraduate years, I studied political theory at Reed College. In 2021, I completed my master’s degree in Social Work at Bryn Mawr College. Since then, I have offered individual therapy in community mental health, university, and private practice settings.
Please note I am currently not offering additional couples sessions.
Welcome. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with nine years of experience supporting individuals through life’s most complex transitions. I earned my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Edinboro University, building on a foundation rooted in Criminal Justice from my undergraduate studies.
My work with the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and the Department of Corrections has shaped a deep understanding of the intersection between personal growth and systemic challenges. Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Pennsylvania
> Searching for therapists in Pennsylvania starts with finding care that matches your needs, location, and insurance. Pennsylvania has a wide range of therapists across urban and rural communities, so available options can vary by area. You may want support with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, grief, or life transitions. As you compare Pennsylvania therapists, look for listed specialties, therapy approaches, and experience that align with what you want to discuss in care. > > Practical fit matters, too. A therapist in Philadelphia may offer different appointment options than one in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, or a smaller Pennsylvania community. Some people prefer meeting in person, while others choose virtual sessions for scheduling flexibility or access to more therapists across the state. Before booking, review each therapist’s profile for availability, whether they are accepting new patients, their approach to sessions, and whether they offer a free phone consultation. > > The cost of therapy in Pennsylvania can vary, and using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to lower session costs. Headway helps you find therapists who take your insurance, see estimated out-of-pocket costs before you book, and compare profiles in one place. Nationally, Headway works with over 100 insurance plans, and you can confirm your coverage for your location and plan as you search — making it easier to find a therapist who matches your needs, accepts your plan, and is ready to see new patients.
