As a licensed psychotherapist, I believe in prioritizing mental health is the key to happiness and stability in life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest past. You don’t have to be in a crisis to meet with me, and for us to talk, I am here to tell you it's never too late to make changes in your life that will ultimately fulfill you and define your happiness. When you decide to come into my office, I will make you feel safe, welcomed, and most importantly, heard.
If you've spent a long time handling everything on your own, the idea of opening up in therapy can feel uncomfortable — maybe even a little vulnerable. You might be stuck in your head, second-guessing yourself, or repeating patterns you can't quite break no matter how hard you try. You don't need to have it all figured out before you reach out. You just need a willingness to start, and I'll meet you right there.
I specialize in helping adults and young adults manage anxiety disorders, panic attacks, chronic stress, and burnout using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches. I also support clients experiencing depression, trauma-related symptoms, and life transitions that feel overwhelming or hard to manage alone.
Many of the people I work with are functioning well but internally overwhelmed—dealing with constant worry, racing thoughts, physical symptoms of anxiety, or a persistent sense of being “on edge.” Others notice anxiety affecting their sleep, focus, relationships, or ability to relax and enjoy life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience supporting adolescents, adults, and older adults through life’s most challenging transitions. My background spans mental health therapy, crisis intervention, trauma recovery, child welfare, and geriatric care, which allows me to work with clients from a holistic, compassionate, and well-rounded perspective.
I use a strength-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach, meeting each client where they are and honoring their unique experiences. My clinical work integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices. I work collaboratively with clients to set meaningful goals, build coping skills, and create sustainable change.
I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also bring a strong background in crisis support and safety planning, ensuring clients feel supported, grounded, and safe throughout the therapeutic process.
Above all, I strive to provide a warm, non-judgmental, and culturally responsive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced to your needs, with a focus on helping you reconnect with your strengths and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I’m a warm, solution-focused, and person-centered therapist who values direct and authentic communication. My approach is grounded in respect and collaboration, working with clients to navigate challenges and build meaningful change. I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing psychosis, OCD, and autism, and also have expertise in ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, BPD, and suicidal ideation. I work with clients across a range of concerns, including grief, relationship struggles, men’s and women’s issues, and PTSD. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow.
I like to tell new and potential clients that I'm a human just like you, the only difference is my education in counseling. I approach all sessions with a genuine curiosity, rational thought process, and the ability to view a situation through multiple lenses. I can tell you all about the alphabet soup (credentials) behind my name, but what I know to be most important is the relationship you build with your therapist, I hope to be that person for you.
I've been told I’m easy to sit with and talk to. I believe that while therapy can be hard work, it can also be a time of funny reflection. Having a positive therapeutic relationship is a big part of what heals us, and it is my desire that we can sit together and laugh, experience tears, and talk openly about your greatest concerns and pains.
If you’re thinking about starting therapy, please feel free to request a complementary 15 minute consultation where we can talk and see if we might be a good fit for each other. I have experience working with adults experiencing grief and loss, addictions, ADHD, and trauma. Even if you’re not sure therapy is right for you, maybe a free consultation.
Life can feel overwhelming, and reaching out for help is often the hardest step. I'm Jackie, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 40 years of nursing experience. Throughout my career, I've cared for individuals and families in a variety of healthcare settings, gaining a deep appreciation for the connection between physical and emotional health. That experience shaped my approach to psychiatric care and continues to guide the way I support each person. You'll find a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and respected. Virtual appointments are available for individuals throughout Pennsylvania.
Hello and welcome! I’m Beth, and I’m so glad you’re here and have taken the important first step toward self-care. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. You may be feeling like you've lost motivation or that your emotions have taken over, or perhaps you're worried about a child. Whatever challenges you're facing, EVERYONE deserves to lead a meaningful life. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where individuals can confront their struggles, find empowerment, and regain a sense of security to start living their best lives.
As a highly sensitive person (HSP) with strong empathy, I understand the importance of compassion. I'm a down-to-earth person who has my own struggles, just like everyone else. I have two children: a son who recently got married and a daughter currently in college. Between my family, including my husband, we certainly know how to drive each other crazy! I love spending time outdoors in nature, as it helps me stay balanced. The tools and strategies I share with my clients are ones I’ve used in my own life, and I believe my experiences as a therapist, educator, mother, wife, daughter, and friend make me a relatable ally for those I work with.
Before becoming a counselor, I spent the first 20 years of my career as a school teacher in Philadelphia. During that time, I was privy to many difficult situations in my students' homes, including various forms of abuse and neglect. Unfortunately, the education system's main focus was on meeting academic standards, leaving little room to address the mental health challenges these children faced. I did my best to support them both academically and emotionally. Over time, I realized what my true calling was and I resigned from teaching to pursue a graduate degree in mental health counseling.
