Some people experience fear that holds them back. Others are so weighed down by the complexities of life that it feels like there is not enough energy to do anything. Over time, they shift further and further away from the person that they know they can be, but they feel like they’ve already tried everything and feel stuck. If you can resonate, the bravest thing you can do is reach out. We all have core beliefs that define how we see ourselves and the world. These beliefs have huge implications for our emotional, behavioral, and relational patterns. Some are positive and helpful, and others are fear-based and limiting.
I help people gain awareness of their limiting core beliefs so they can actively reframe them, if necessary, into more beneficial and realistic beliefs. Together, we can explore the internal and external factors that impact not only your beliefs, but the feelings, behaviors, and relationships associated with those beliefs.
I collaborate with individuals, couples, and families, and together, we work to accomplish the changes they desperately want to make. If you are ready for a change, know I will be right by your side as you reclaim joy, face your fears, and begin to feel at peace with yourself again (or maybe even for the first time).
I am glad you are here! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy over telehealth in Pennsylvania. I have over 18 years of experience providing mental health care to people of all ages. For the last 11 years, I have specialized in serving adult women across multiple levels of care including outpatient, intensive outpatient programming, and partial hospitalization programming, In my years of experience I have seen countless women make profound changes in their lives with the support of other women cheering them on.
When I began seeing a therapist, I realized just how much I needed an outlet to process hardships in my life and to feel genuinely heard, and this is exactly what I want to provide to clients who come to see me. As I have advanced in my own self-discovery and identity exploration, I have become interested in helping others in the LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent (specifically autism and ADHD), and disability communities on their own journeys. I believe that having lived experience related to my specialties is a fundamental component to the care I can provide.
Getting help should feel like something you can actually do. For a lot of families, insurance is the part that makes it feel impossible. I went into private practice specifically so I could take that off the table. I work primarily with children, adolescents, and families. The families I see are usually navigating something that is just hard: a kid who is struggling in school, a teenager who is shutting down, parents who are not sure how to reach them. Sometimes it is a big transition. Sometimes it is the slow buildup of stress that nobody quite had words for yet. I have been doing this for 17 years. Most of that time was spent in clinic settings, where I saw a lot of people and had to move fast. I learned a great deal in those environments. I also learned that real therapeutic progress requires time, consistency, and a relationship where the client actually feels known. That is what I am building in private practice. My approach is direct and warm. I am not interested in jargon. I want to understand what is actually going on and work with you on what will actually help. Sessions are fully telehealth, which means no commute, more scheduling flexibility, and care that fits into your actual life. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
At my core, I am a humanist, existentialist, and a proponent of unconditional self-compassion. I have a strong skill set working with older teens and young adults but love working with all humans in general. Other therapeutic areas of strength would be trauma, personality disorders, gender and sexuality, parenting, relationships, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder and ADHD.
Hi! I'm Sam, I hope to support you through all stages of life with humility and kindness. I believe all humans deserve respect, and the ability to be supported in their journey of life. I hope to provide a place for those work with to feel safe, affirmed, and to move through each length of their journey in their way. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 14+ years of experience in counseling and therapy. I enjoy working with adults, teens, as well as anyone who is open to change, or seeking support in their life. I'm strengths-based and person-centered in my approach.
Hi! I have been in the therapy field for over 18 years, working with individuals and families in both outpatient, group, and residential settings. After a few unsatisfying careers and emotional stagnation in relationships, I recognized I needed to do some significant work on myself. I pursued therapy for myself which led me to appreciate the capacity and curiosity to want to help others.
Something brought you here today. With 25 years working alongside people in community mental health settings, I have learned that deciding to start therapy takes
real courage. My work begins where you are, not where someone thinks you should be. Whether you are carrying anxiety, grief, relationship strain, the weight of life transitions, or simply wondering if things could feel different, I want to hear your whole story before we figure out the path forward. Everyone has their own, and we will find yours together.

Dee is skilled at helping individuals, couples, and families with communication and relationship skill building; reducing and coping with stress; recovery from affairs; anxiety and depression, sex issues for couples and individuals; and LGBT issues,. Dee an LMFT is also an ordained clergy in the ELCA (a progressive Lutheran denomination) and is interested in helping clients of all (or no) religious and faith backgrounds explore the connections between their own spirituality, religion, sexuality, and relationships.
I work with adolescents and adults who want more than just healing and coping-I help folks connect the dots for how to live a more successful and joyful life. About half of my practice is focused on performance psychology, while the other half focuses on overcoming depression, trauma, and anxiety. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, driven, and curious. They're not only looking to feel better-they want to know why they feel the way they do. As I often say: descriptions can validate, but explanations heal. Together, we connect the dots between your experiences, patterns, and goals in order to thrive.
