I attended The Cleveland Institute of Art for my BA in Fine Art, followed by Ursuline College for my MA in Art Therapy and Counseling.

I specialize in working with trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, depression, and chronic health conditions, among others.

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with adults and older teens (17+) navigating the very real, sometimes messy parts of life — relationships, identity, big life changes, chronic illness, anxiety, feeling stuck, or those “I have no idea what I’m doing right now” seasons.

If the idea of therapy feels a little awkward or intimidating, you’re definitely not alone. You don’t need to walk into my office with the perfect words, a list of goals, or even know exactly what’s bothering you. Just walk in as you, and we can figure the rest out together.... My style is warm, down-to-earth, collaborative, and very much human. Therapy with me isn’t about sitting across from someone who just nods and asks, “And how does that make you feel?” for 50 minutes. We’ll talk, laugh when it’s appropriate, sit with the hard stuff when we need to, and work together to actually understand what’s going on beneath the surface.

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience in behavioral health, including more than a decade as a psychiatric registered nurse. I earned my post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and hold a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nursing Education from the University of Detroit Mercy.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds in outpatient, residential, correctional, and community-based settings. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, PTSD, schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.

I believe mental health care should be collaborative, respectful, and individualized. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understand your treatment options, and feel empowered to take an active role in your mental health and overall well-being.

My journey to mental healthcare My background as a nurse was eight years of acute care. I was an Emergency Department and ICU nurse for almost a decade before I switched my focus to Mental Health. I observed firsthand the deficit in mental health care and prevention and wanted to devote my career to recognition, advocating prevention, and resources for patients with mental health needs.

With over three years of experience as a Registered Behavioral Health Technician, I have developed a deep understanding of behavioral interventions and client-centered care. My clinical training includes internships in school settings across various socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as in community mental health, allowing me to address a wide range of client needs with empathy and effectiveness.
