Hello, I’m Bianca, and I’m glad you’re taking this step toward supporting your well-being. I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 18 years of nursing experience. I work with adults (18+) who are navigating symptoms related to depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life stressors. My name is Queen Watson (yes that's my real name) and I’m a Cincinnati, OH native. I attended The Ohio State University for my bachelor's degree in psychology and obtained my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. As a Black therapist, I take pride in providing a safe space for individuals to address the impact of a system that villainizes those experiencing side effects of the human condition and directly challenge the stereotype of what therapists should look or act like. My ideal clients are adults experiencing or seeking: identify affirming care (i.e., LGBT+, BIPOC), ADHD, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, seeking stronger intra- and interpersonal relationships, intense anger, and mood disorders.
I’m a licensed professional counselor who works primarily with women navigating ADHD, anxiety, and depression. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or frustrated with themselves for not being able to “keep up” in the way they think they should.
I specialize in helping neurodivergent individuals better understand their patterns, reduce shame, and develop tools that actually work for their brains—especially in areas like executive functioning, emotional regulation, and burnout.
Helping my patients feel safe, seen, and heard on the path to recovery is my primary goal as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I received my training at The Ohio State University, and I provide mental healthcare for adults and young people over age 12. I specialize in caring for patients who want to understand and address the root causes of their mental health symptoms.
I'm an LCSW practicing in Indiana, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, Alabama, Virginia, and Illinois. I specialize prenatal, childhood, and adolescent trauma, OCD, eating disorders, and ARFID. I currently see clients from age 2y through adulthood. I'm available for telehealth services and offer virtual psychotherapy and play therapy sessions.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Family Therapist in Cincinnati
Searching for family therapists in Cincinnati starts with finding someone who understands the family dynamics you want to address. Family therapy can support concerns like parenting conflict, adolescent struggles, blended family dynamics, co-parenting, divorce transitions, and communication challenges across generations. Family therapists are trained to work with the relational system, not just one person. As you compare options, look for therapists whose listed specialties, background, and approach match what your family is navigating.
In a mid-sized city like Cincinnati, you may find family counseling options across local offices and virtual appointments. The right format often depends on schedules, transportation, and who plans to attend each session. Some sessions may include the full family, while others may involve parents, children, siblings, couples counseling for parenting, or individual family members. Before booking, review therapist bios for details on session structure, therapeutic approach, availability, and whether a free phone consultation is offered.
Family therapy in Cincinnati can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and make care easier to access. Headway helps you find Cincinnati family counseling options by showing therapists who are accepting new patients, offer in-person or virtual care, and match your insurance details. You can review estimated costs before booking, compare therapist profiles, and book directly when you’re ready.
If anyone in your family is experiencing or worried about abuse, threats, or coercion, joint family or couples therapy usually isn't the right starting point — individual support is safer. The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-422-4453) and National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
