Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor from Nevada, Arizona, and South Carolina. I’ve been described as tenacious when I advocated for community mental health services in Arizona. Now, I am encouraging personal advocacy.
I received my Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2019. With experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, I provide individual and group therapy, crisis interventions, and support services. Trained in evidence-based therapies like TF-CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, SFT, and CBT, I tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs.
Welcome to a healthier happier you! I am excited to join you on your wellness journey. Therapy is a courageous act of self-care. As a mental health therapist for more than a decade, I am honored to share the real-life tools that have helped so many brave clients throughout my career. I see my clients as whole individuals, and we explore all aspects of everyday life: physical, mental, social, financial health and more.
With over 18 years of experience working in the mental health field, I am confident that together we can help you find what you need to start feeling better. As a mother and wife, I understand just how hectic and complicated life can be. I have a friendly, open, and nonjudgmental approach to those I work with. I believe that each person is just as unique as their challenges, and with some time and attention, we can find solutions that will help you on your way to feeling more at peace, with more control over your life.
I'm interested in helping you become your best, authentic self - whatever that looks like! Therapy is about relationships -- the relationship between therapist and client as well as the relationship the client has with themselves and others. My goal as a therapist is for you to feel seen, heard, and understood and to take that capacity and generalize it throughout your lived experience. As a therapist, I examine your memories, perceptions, and presence to paint a vibrant picture of who you are.

Find the right LGBTQ-friendly therapy provider for you
Headway makes it easier to connect with affirming therapists who understand your identity — from finding the right therapist, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing an LGBTQIA Therapist in Henderson
Finding LGBTQIA therapists in Henderson starts with choosing identity-affirming care that matches your needs. An affirmative therapist may support concerns related to identity, relationships, family stress, anxiety, depression, or life changes. As you compare Henderson therapists, look for profiles that mention LGBTQIA+ populations, affirmative therapy, gender-diverse experience, or World Professional Association for Transgender Health training. These details can help you find a therapist whose experience goes beyond general competence and aligns with the care you want.
Henderson has a growing mental health care community, with access to nearby Las Vegas adding more options. Even in a mid-sized market, affirming therapists may be easier to find when you include virtual appointments in your search. Some people prefer an office visit close to home, while others choose virtual therapy for more scheduling options. When comparing therapists, consider appointment times, whether the therapist is accepting new patients, and whether a free phone consultation is available. Reading bios can also show how each therapist describes their style, specialties, and experience with LGBTQIA+ care.
Therapy in Henderson can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and make ongoing care easier to plan for. Headway helps you compare therapists who are accepting new patients, review their bios, check whether they accept your plan, and see estimated out-of-pocket costs before booking. You can browse LGBTQIA+ therapists in Henderson, review fit, and book directly when you’re ready.
