Hi There! I am proud to be a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner! I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with my bachelor’s degree and Regis College with my master’s degree. I'm excited to provide you with the individualized care you deserve. Most of all, my goal is to honor your individuality and lifestyle when creating a plan of care. Your goals are what matters- it's your life! Let's help you get to where you want to be!
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and art therapist who works with people navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, emotional highs and lows, and complicated relationships with alcohol or drugs.
My background in art therapy means there is always another way in when words feel like too much. Creative approaches are optional, but available for those who want them.
Outside of the office, I crochet, travel, go to concerts, and practice flow arts. That curiosity and creativity carries into how I work with clients.
I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I earned both my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Columbia University. My clinical training includes experience in child, adolescent, and adult inpatient psychiatry, as well as school-based and private practice settings. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in a detox and rehab facility serving individuals with substance use disorders, many from underserved backgrounds, including low-income, formerly incarcerated, and unhoused populations. I currently practice in a federally qualified health center.
Hello and welcome to therapy. You are one step closer on your journey to achieving your goals, passions, and intentions. You and I will develop a therapeutic relationship as you work through trauma, anxiety, depression, and other areas that you would like growth in. You will utilize the strengths that you already have, and keep expanding on those. It is my job to create a safe, open, and person-centered environment. I look forward to working with you on your healing journey! Keep going and growing.
I have worked in the field of psychology for over 25 years and hold two Master’s degrees as well as a PhD in Neuropsychology. I provide psychotherapy for individuals across the lifespan and specialize in the treatment of mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
I also work with individuals who are navigating major life stressors such as divorce, career transitions, and other significant changes. In addition, I help clients address concerns related to anger management, chronic stress, and the psychological impact of health issues.
My goal is to support clients in developing effective coping strategies, gaining insight, and making meaningful changes that improve their overall well-being and quality of life.
Choosing a therapist can be difficult. I like to help my client feels empowered in an affirming environment to meet their needs and goals.

Find the right therapist for you
Headway makes it easy to find support for your mental health — from finding the right provider, to understanding costs, to scheduling with ease.
Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Arlington
Finding the right therapist in Arlington, MA starts with identifying the type of support you need. Whether you're looking for help with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, or another challenge, a licensed provider with relevant experience can make a meaningful difference. Arlington is home to a range of mental health professionals — including licensed mental health counselors (LMHCs), licensed clinical social workers (LICSWs), psychologists, and psychiatrists — many of whom offer both in-person and virtual sessions.
As you compare providers, consider what matters most to you beyond credentials. A provider's therapeutic approach, communication style, and areas of focus can all shape your experience. Reading detailed bios and scheduling a free phone consultation are two practical ways to assess fit before committing to ongoing care.
Therapy in the greater Boston area can be expensive, but using your in-network insurance benefits is one of the most reliable ways to reduce what you pay. On Headway, you can enter your insurance details to see estimated session costs upfront, and many patients pay as low as $0 per visit. Nationally, Headway partners with over 100 insurance plans, making it easier to find a therapist in Arlington who is both the right clinical match and covered by your plan.
