Hi, I’m Alexis! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Georgia with several years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, life transitions, and challenging family or relationship dynamics.

My experience includes community-based care, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, nonprofit organizations, residential treatment, and private practice. I use evidence-based approaches including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed, attachment-based, and IFS-informed interventions.

I earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Religion, a Master of Social Work, and a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Georgia. I am currently completing my Doctorate degree and also serve as a part-time Assistant Professor, helping prepare future social work professionals.

I earned my Master's in Counseling and PsyD at Fuller Theological Seminary. I have had the privilege of working in hospitals, universities, private practice, and community mental health settings, and these experiences have given me a broad perspective on the unique difficulties facing individuals. My clinical training includes a specialty in spirituality and religious experiences (i.e., religious trauma and deconstruction). I work with individuals 18+ and help individuals who are navigating life transitions and/or relationship difficulties.

Hey I'm Jamie! I graduated in 2010 from the University of Georgia School of Social Work, and worked in hospice care, a nursing home, and with children and families in community mental health before private practice. I want to help anyone who is struggling, even if they are not an "ideal client". I believe every human has strengths and is a multifaceted being. I have a special place in my heart for neurodivergent individuals as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community. <3

I am a dedicated therapist with 18 years of experience helping individuals navigate their healing journeys. My practice specializes in the treatment of trauma, mood disorders, grief, relational concerns, and phase-of-life issues.

I help children, adults, couples, and families who are navigating ADHD, anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, or substance-use challenges. As an LPC-S, LCDC, and Certified School Counselor, I bring behavioral-health and school-based experience to therapy. My style is warm, direct, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental. Together, we identify patterns, build practical coping and communication skills, and create a treatment plan that reflects your needs, strengths, and goals.

My qualifications and competence in the area of Counseling are founded on my education, work experience, and additional training in areas relating to the field of counseling. I have over five (5) years’ experience providing services to a wide range of populations including adolescents, adults and couples in school, outpatient, nonprofit, and virtual settings. My specialties include providing counseling services to adults, adolescents, and families surrounding depression, anxiety, trauma, life changes, and emotional regulation.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I believe that hope and healing are possible for everyone. My counseling approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change can occur when individuals, couples, and families partner with a compassionate, skilled therapist who provides effective support and practical mental health resources.
