Hey! You’re seeking help because it is needed. That’s huge! Many people don’t seek treatment or therapy but you’re already on this path. Some folks don’t find the path. You’ve got some idea of what you need and are ready for someone to be along with you on this journey. We both know humans succeed in a team not so much when we are alone. First, give yourself credit because it takes a lot of courage to not do things alone and to be willing to open up to someone you do not know. Your courage is where our journey together starts. It would be an honor to be a part of your team in life, for life!

Her main area of specialty is helping individuals who are coping with depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD diagnosis, self-harming, pet loss, family building concerns, and LGBTQ+ matters. Josalin has gained experience by working with individuals who are coping with emotional abuse, deportation of family members, death of loved ones, and other painful experiences. She also works with individuals for anger management and stress management.
I am a licensed clinical social worker, meaning I studied both psychology and the context (environmental and social) that contributes to mental health challenges. Throughout my career, I've worked with those recovering from trauma and addiction. Most of my clients are healing from experiences of violence, abuse, sexual assault, and/or neglect. In an effort to address symptoms faster, I obtained training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
Whether we are searching for complete happiness; trying to find our life’s purpose or just trying to gather the strength to make it through one more day, we all want to live our most fulfilling lives with less doubt and worry and more love and happiness...and fun! I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for us to explore, understand, and reconcile any disturbances within you.
Greetings!
As a therapist, I believe it is important to walk in your purpose and I believe I do that every day. My name is Laijun English, and I am a counselor that provides treatment for teens and adults dealing with life’s challenges. I have Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University.
I am a dedicated therapist with 18 years of experience helping individuals navigate their healing journeys. My practice specializes in the treatment of trauma, mood disorders, grief, relational concerns, and phase-of-life issues.
Do you feel like your anxiety or depression takes over at the worst possible moments? Are you finding it difficult to feel growth in managing trauma responses? Are you seeking a safe and brave space for therapy that utilizes somatic movements and exploration of intersectional identity affiliations and alliances?
I help individuals gain self-awareness and management of anxiety and depression. I offer aid unpacking trauma with options in exploring mindful movement and feeling present in the body. I assist exploration of intersectional identity (i.e., which is open to race, religion, spirituality, LGBTQIA+, and other identity affiliations/alliances).
