I am a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than eight years of experience in healthcare and a strong background in psychiatric services. I began my medical career in Cuba, where I earned my medical degree from the University of Medical Sciences of Havana “Calixto García.” After moving to the United States, I earned my nursing degree and later completed a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in family practice.

Throughout my career, I have worked in psychiatric care, women’s health, transitional care, pain management, and primary care. I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns. I am committed to helping each client feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.

I believe my job as a therapist is to help tap into your most authentic self, and walk alongside you with whatever struggles there may be. My approach to therapy is direct, with the use of humor, analogies, and metaphors; I try to bring every thing together to help make sense in a world that can be confusing. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, people-pleasing, self-esteem, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have a particular interest in helping people who second-guess themselves, feel responsible for everyone else’s happiness, or struggle to feel secure in their relationships. My work often focuses on strengthening self-trust, setting boundaries, and understanding the patterns that influence how we see ourselves and connect with others. I also work with couples to improve communication, navigate conflict, and build emotional connection.
