I completed my undergraduate studies at Florida International University. I obtained a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University and completed both a master’s and doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Albizu University. I gained predoctoral internship training at University of Central Florida and a postdoctoral fellowship at Jackson Health System in affiliation with the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
While every person's journey is unique, many clients report feeling more hopeful, confident, and emotionally grounded as they begin the therapeutic process. Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and never judged.
For more than a decade, I've worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and everyday stress. I believe that the foundation of successful therapy is a genuine, trusting relationship. I take the time to get to know you, meet you where you are, and tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals.
Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, and easy to talk to. They appreciate that I balance listening and validation with practical tools they can begin using in their daily lives. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, we'll work together at a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that you'll leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with strategies to help you move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Hi, I’m Eliza Ale-Finks, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker with more than 10 years of experience in mental health and a Master of Social Work degree. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, self-esteem challenges, and major life transitions. Hi there, I'm Dr. Nadeem. I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist. I was trained at Ivy League prestigious institutions, completing Psychiatry Residency at Cornell University and Geriatric Psychiatry fellowship at Brown University. Over the years, I've cared for patients across a wide range of settings including complex inpatient, outpatient, consultation-liaison psychiatry and since COVID as a tele-health Psychiatrist. I've also had the privilege of teaching medical students along the way, which deepened my belief that truly good psychiatric care starts with compassionate care.
I believe healing happens when you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are without fear of judgment.
I work with adults, young adults and children experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic interventions, and mindfulness to help clients better understand themselves, develop effective coping skills, and create lasting change.
I believe that prioritizing your mental health is a major key to a happy, fulfilling life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 5 years, but before I was a therapist I taught high school. Because of my background in education, I love working with young adult females who are struggling with identity, self-confidence, anxiety and depression.
My mission in therapy is to create a space where clients have the freedom to guide the work towards their goals with a collaborate partner who can assist in the self discovery process. I strive to make therapy feel loving and supportive by providing a place where you can start on the journey to connecting with your inner strength. Self care is important, and therapy is a courageous way to give yourself the care and support you deserve.
