Hi! I'm Dr. Miller, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of experience in mental health and wellness care. My journey has taken me from earning my BSN at Barry University to my MSN and FNP at the University of Miami, a Post-Master's as a Psych NP from the University of Alabama, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from FIU. That depth of training means I bring both clinical expertise and genuine, hard-earned wisdom to every person I work with.
I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD across the lifespan, and I work with adults and seniors navigating a range of mental health challenges — including bipolar disorder, OCD, panic disorders, sleep difficulties, and more. My greatest strength is building genuine, trusting relationships with my patients. I take the time to listen without judgment, understand each person's unique needs, and create individualized treatment plans that help you feel supported and empowered throughout your mental health journey. Outside of work, I recharge by spending time with my family, traveling, and staying active outdoors.

I’m also a yoga teacher for 13 years, so it is genuinely a passion of mine to help others feel better. For extra care, I post FREE guided meditations online. Anyone in the world can listen! I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in behavioral health across diverse clinical settings including inpatient psychiatry, outpatient care, long term care, and telehealth. Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, mood disorders, life transitions, burnout, and the emotional challenges that can come with balancing multiple roles and responsibilities.
I’m a bilingual psychotherapist with 20 years of experience working in correctional health, outpatient mental health, and private practice. I work with youth, adolescents, and adults, offering therapy and evaluations in both English and Spanish. Through my practice, MLC Mental Services, I provide confidential in-person and virtual care and welcome individuals from all backgrounds, including immigrants, first responders, and those working in health and human services.
Life can feel overwhelming when you are carrying anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, identity-related challenges, or the pressure of trying to navigate the expectations of others while remaining true to yourself. Therapy offers a space to slow down, process your experiences, and build healthier ways of coping and moving forward. You do not have to face these challenges alone.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am committed to creating a compassionate, affirming, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe being fully themselves.
I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBTQ+ community, and understand the importance of feeling seen, respected, and supported throughout the therapeutic process.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University and my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies from University of Florida, graduating cum laude from both programs.
My professional and personal experiences have strengthened my passion for advocacy, inclusivity, and empowering others to embrace their individuality and resilience. I believe healing begins with connection, authenticity, and self-acceptance. Reaching out for support can feel difficult, but it is also a powerful first step toward growth and healing. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, understood, and supported as they work toward becoming the healthiest and most authentic version of themselves.
I believe therapy works best when it feels human, so let me start by telling you a little about me. Outside of session, you will usually find me outdoors. I take long walks with my husband and our dachshund. I spend as much time in nature as I can, I go to yoga classes, longboard and sing. Those things keep me grounded, and they are part of why I believe so much in the value of small, sustainable practices that bring you back to yourself.
In my practice, I work with adults navigating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and questions of identity. I also support people through family issues, relationship struggles, stress and burnout, ADHD, and grief. I am inquisitive, warm, and not easily rattled.
I have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University. I’ve been at Wekiva Springs Center since 2022, and have experience with patients all over the spectrum from mood disorders, to substance abuse disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and psychotic disorders.
I work with clients that feel stuck or unsure, but want to change this and are motivated to pursue this change. Seeking counseling is a tough first step, but you are here; you did it! Please feel free to contact me to discuss your journey, your goals, and how I may support you.
