I truly believe that mental health is just as important as physical health, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients in their healing and growth. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health from St Thomas University. Before becoming a PMHNP, I worked as a registered nurse inpatient psychiatry, Correctional facility and medical-surgical units, which gave me a strong foundation in holistic patient care. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults across a wide range of mental health concerns, with Depression and anxiety, Bipolar disorder, ADHD, Trauma and PTSD, Substance use disorders, Sleep issues and Lifestyle related mental health concerns. I use a combination of evidence-based medication management, supportive therapy, psychoeducation, and lifestyle coaching to help clients reach their goals.
I am currently accepting new clients. If you’ve been carrying a lot for a long time, you don’t have to sort through it alone. I work with adults of all ages to address past experiences, current concerns, and future goals in a welcoming, collaborative, and supportive space. If you’re looking for care that feels thoughtful, steady, and genuinely personal, we’ll create a path forward together.
Therapy with me is very human and genuine. I don’t just focus on what’s painful or stuck but help to highlight the ways in which my clients overcome life's punches. While I take this work seriously, I believe laughter can be healing and disarming in therapy.
I earned my Master’s degree in Counselor Education from Florida International University and have worked in a variety of settings, including the foster care system, residential treatment, and community mental health. My background includes supporting individuals navigating trauma, persistent mental health conditions, substance use, eating disorders, and major life transitions. I’ve also worked with veterans, individuals who are unhoused, and LGBTQIA2S+ clients.
In my practice, I work with clients experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, trauma, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I also support clients with PTSD, some OCD presentations, and concerns related to gender, sexuality, and queer identity. My work is trauma-informed, affirming, and rooted in helping clients feel both emotionally safe and genuinely understood.
I've spent over five decades in mental health — from inpatient psychiatric settings to outpatient care — which means I've sat with people in some of their most difficult moments and helped them find a way through. I work with adults and seniors navigating bipolar disorder, grief, anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, OCD, addiction, and complex challenges like dual diagnosis. I'm LGBTQ+ affirming and bring a direct, open-minded approach that honors who you are. Sessions are virtual, so you can access care from wherever you're most comfortable — your home, your car, wherever works for you.
I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) licensed psychologist who is passionate about helping women understand themselves more deeply, overcome challenges, and build lives that feel meaningful and fulfilling. I provide both therapy and psychological evaluations in a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment.
In therapy, I work with women navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, chronic illness, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, and self-esteem concerns. I believe healing happens when people feel heard, supported, and empowered to make lasting changes.
I also provide comprehensive psychological evaluations to help individuals gain clarity about their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. Evaluations may address concerns related to ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, personality functioning, cognitive changes, and diagnostic clarification. My goal is not simply to provide answers, but to help you better understand your strengths, challenges, and the most effective path forward.
Whether you are seeking therapy, an evaluation, or both, I strive to create a collaborative experience where you feel respected, understood, and supported every step of the way.
I am compassionate, non-judgmental, and deeply committed to creating a safe space where you feel heard and understood. I believe in meeting you where you are and working collaboratively toward meaningful change. My approach is supportive, practical, and goal-oriented, helping you build insight, coping skills, and confidence at your own pace.
While every person's journey is unique, many clients report feeling more hopeful, confident, and emotionally grounded as they begin the therapeutic process. Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and never judged.
For more than a decade, I've worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and everyday stress. I believe that the foundation of successful therapy is a genuine, trusting relationship. I take the time to get to know you, meet you where you are, and tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals.
