Hi, I’m Renée Rivers, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in South Florida. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, teens, and families navigating trauma, identity, and major life transitions. As a first-generation Haitian-American woman, I deeply understand the cultural and intergenerational layers that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Hi, I’m Maikel Echemendia, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner serving patients in Florida through both in-person and telehealth appointments. I specialize in helping adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, insomnia, panic symptoms, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, and life stressors. My approach is warm, supportive, and practical. I believe patients should feel heard, respected, and understood—not judged. Many people come to treatment feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, anxious, or stuck, and my goal is to help them regain stability, clarity, and confidence in their daily lives.

I have over 15 years years of experience working with children, adults, and older adults. I help people with suicidal thoughts, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, bipolar disorder, addiction, PTSD and more. I also have experience with advanced treatments such as TMS, ECT, and Spravato.
