Hi! I’m so glad you’re here!
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Regis, with a MA in counseling psychology and became a licensed therapist, later earning an MBA in Healthcare Administration with honors, while working for a large health plan.
Throughout my career, I’ve stayed committed to growth, continued education, and surrounding myself with great mentors. Mentors are valuable at every stage of a career. I’ve learned navigating life successfully is about discovering what works and learning from others who share their journey.
I grew up near Columbus, Ohio (Go Buckeyes!) and have called Colorado home since graduating from CSU. I love the arts- museums, theater/movies, and comedy. Love the outdoors and staying active- skiing, hiking, travel, and time with family and friends. Even though landlocked here in CO, I love seaside living- paddle-boarding, snorkeling, or volunteering in sea turtle conservation.
Choosing a therapist, especially if it's a first time, it’s important to feel heard, accepted, and genuinely valued. It truly makes a difference about treatment success!
Do you struggle with persistent anxiety or depression? Do you have an adolescent with emotional or behavioral problems? Are you having issues with addiction? I've been assisting people in the Denver area for the past thirty years. I have worked in inpatient psychiatry and drug and alcohol rehabilitation, and I currently teach psychology and related subjects at the University of Denver. Although my clinical specialties are working with adolescents and addictive issues, I also work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with mood disorders, anger management, men's issues, and spiritual issues.
"I believe that clinical credentials are only part of the process of selecting a therapist. To that end, I offer a free fifteen-minute consultation to determine if I'm the right therapist for you."
I have been in the mental health field for over twelve years. My experience has allowed me to provide therapeutic services focused on those who have experienced trauma, family issues, lack of identity/purpose, and couples/relationship issues.
I’m glad you’re here — taking the step to look for support shows your strength, and I’d be honored to walk with you. I work with adults, children, and teens who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply, life. In our work together, we’ll create a warm, collaborative space where you’re heard, seen, and your goals matter.
With over two decades in Intensive care nursing, I am driven by a passion for helping people heal beyond symptom management. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care with a whole-person, holistic approach to mental wellness. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, burnout, stress, and life transitions—with a special focus on women who are used to holding everything together while quietly feeling overwhelmed. I believe that true healing begins when the mind and body are supported in unison; together, I will support your growth from ordinary to Elevated!
Hello! I’m Amy Monreal, a therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples find healing and connection. Maybe you are in a relationship where conflict is difficult to navigate, and you feel stuck in patterns that leave you feeling frustrated and alone. It can be hard to navigate these patterns on our own. I believe every person deserves healing and relationships that are safe, supportive, and loving.
Allison L Schulte, LSCSW, is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker who offers therapeutic services to adults, adolescents, and children experiencing depression, anxiety, cognitive impairments such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, personality disorders, grief and loss, significant stress, relationship difficulties, and other social or emotional concerns. She holds both undergraduate and master’s degrees in social work from Wichita State University.
I’m Makala Smith, a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I am committed to providing holistic mental health care through a balanced and patient-centered approach.
My background includes neurology, trauma, and public health nursing. I earned my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from University of Colorado after I realized the need for psychiatric providers in my rural community of Meeker, Colorado and surrounding areas. By furthering my education, I am able to provide specialized, thoughtful, empathetic psychiatric care.
As a Missouri Ozarks native, nature and the outdoors have always played a huge part in my healing journey and mental health. Growing up, I was outside any chance I got; riding bikes, riding horses, climbing trees, bird watching, rock collecting, camping, hiking, floating, boating, spelunking, exploring creeks, and enjoying campfires. Nature immersion, movement in nature, outdoor recreation, and horsemanship remain part of my daily practice; and I incorporate these into my therapeutic work wherever possible.
