Hi, I'm Aimie. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. My background is unique in that it combines traditional psychotherapy with years of behavioral training, allowing me to understand not only why people think and feel the way they do, but also how those patterns show up in everyday life.
Throughout my career, I've worked extensively with individuals with anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, perfectionism, and life transitions. I also have specialized training in couples therapy and have spent many years supporting children and families navigating neurodiversity.
I believe therapy should feel like a genuine conversation with someone who truly understands you. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, accepted, and empowered to make meaningful, lasting change.
My goals as your therapist to help you address the factors in life —personal, familial, spiritual, academic etc.— that weigh heavy on you. Also, I'll introduce interventions that empower you to manage and strive the changes you want to make in your daily life. I specialize in working with clients who struggle with depression and anxiety.
I specialize in helping clients navigating trauma, anxiety, panic disorder, depression, LGBTQ+ issues, grief, & much more. I earned my MSW from New York University in 2011 and have worked as a forensic social worker in NYC at The Legal Aid Society & have also worked with Gay Men's Health Crisis, Services for the Underserved, Footsteps & Office of the Appellate Defender. I moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and have been in private practice since 2018.
I bring 14 + years of experience providing thrrapy in both private and clinical settings. My work is grounded in a client centered strengths-based approach, rooted in unconditional, positive regard and a commitment to providing a safe, non-judgmental space where client can openly share their stories.
I identify as neurodivergent and have personally and professionally navigated ADHD. This experience allows me to bring both clinical knowledge lived understanding to my work, helping clients recognize their strengths, develop effective strategies, and move toward meaningful growth and stability.
Hello! I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children (6+), teens, adults, and seniors. Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, depression, ADHD, or bipolar mood swings affect your energy, focus, relationships, and daily life. I believe mental health care should feel supportive, comfortable, and personalized. As a board-certified PMHNP with over five years of experience, I help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, eating disorders, schizophrenia, and other mental health concerns.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Orange County, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in anxiety, relationship issues, substance abuse/addiction, and trauma.
My communication style is calm, accommodating, and reassuring. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment.
I decided to become a therapist because I have always wanted to help people. Whether it was as an epidemiologist working with the physically ill, mentoring high school students in relational and life decisions, or being a loyal friend, I have always naturally been drawn to helping people through difficult times. Now, as a therapist, I get to enjoy seeing people realize their full potential, heal from their pain, and identify and begin working toward a new future of hope for themselves.
I have been drawn to this work for as long as I can remember. I earned my Masters in Social Work at Loma Linda University and spent years inside child protective services and the custody system, where I saw how much pain families carry and how little space they are given to heal it. I became a licensed clinical social worker in 2012 and opened my own practice in 2021. Along the way I trained in EMDR, DBT, Internal Family Systems and somatic work, and I taught social work at the graduate level. That mix shapes how I sit with people today. I am not interested in managing symptoms and calling it progress. I want the people I
work with to feel genuinely different in their own bodies and in their own relationships.
My role is to work alongside you to understand your experiences and develop a treatment plan that truly fits your life
I am a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations. Starting your healing journey can seem overwhelming and lonely. My aim is to walk alongside and help you gain a better understanding of how your experiences have impacted the way you approach life. I believe in a person centered approach as you are the expert of your life and your life experiences, so collaborative we will write your new narrative.
