Hi, I’m Vimal Patel, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience in healthcare. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing and have a background in both psychiatric and intensive care nursing. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders using a combination of medication management and supportive therapy. I have over 7 years of experience working with depression and anxiety disorders, trauma, couples, and other severe mental health concerns. My goal is to create a comfortable, safe space where you can begin your therapeutic journey with confidence and without judgment. Together, we can openly explore what you want in—and out of—life. If you don't know what that looks like yet, that's okay. We can figure it out together. Your goals may also change along the way, and therapy should have the flexibility to change with you.
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a PhD and 34 years of experience, offering telehealth therapy to clients in California. I help those who are too hard on themselves to become their own best friend.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. I work with adolescents, teenagers, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, and emotional burnout.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I understand that mental health is deeply connected to daily life, relationships, culture, and personal experiences, and I take a compassionate, whole-person approach to care.
Have you been overwhelmed with trying to navigate through the ways you show up in your relationships with others, making you question your own self-identity? The goal is to help you navigate through these feelings/emotions with self-curiosity and compassion. I want to help hold space for my clients to explore these new tools through self-discovery.
I'm Virginia Rubio, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University and my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent more than a decade as a registered nurse in settings that shaped how I practice today. I worked telemetry and medical-surgical units at a community hospital, cared for patients at a state psychiatric hospital, and provided care in correctional and juvenile health settings. Those environments put me alongside people at some of the hardest points in their lives, often people who had been dismissed or overlooked elsewhere. That's where I learned that being genuinely listened to is itself part of treatment.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, and sleep difficulties. I have a particular interest in women's mental health — perinatal concerns, hormonal and life transitions, and the specific pressures women often carry without naming them. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, and I see patients throughout California by secure video.
Outside of work, I recharge with my family, time outdoors and on my feet, and a mindfulness practice I've kept up for years. Those things aren't separate from how I practice; they're a large part of why I believe daily habits and emotional health can't be pulled apart.
