Hello and welcome to my site. I have been licensed as a social worker since 1995 when I obtained my undergrad degree in social work. Since that time I have been licensed at the independent clinical level after obtaining my MSW degree and have been in practice independently since 2011. I work with a variety of clients with different issues, but I focus on trauma and how traumatic situations and life experiences impact how people see the world.

I am a compassionate, understanding, and good listener. I help individuals navigate emotional struggles using a holistic and evidence-based approach to mental health care. I conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and provide brief psychotherapy. I work with individuals of all ages who are struggling with conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia, and coping skills. I love to support you in your journey to better mental health.

I have been practicing for over 15 years with compassion/empathy guiding my efforts. I have extensive experience with 9 populations: Eating Disorders, Anxiety/Depression, Combat Vets, Geriatrics, Sex Offenders, Substance Use Disorder, Co-Occurring Disorders, Clinic environment, Women's issues.

I'm Erica, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and I think of myself as your therapeutic GPS — you set the destination, and I help you find the route. I work with children, teens, adults, and couples, and I bring genuine respect, real-world knowledge, and yes, some humor to every session, because feeling comfortable with your therapist actually matters for getting better.

My clients are the “overthinkers” in the world...with big feelings that are hard to explain. They feel misunderstood, lonely and isolated while striving to please others at the expense of themselves. They’re exhausted, overworked, and over-stressed, feeling like they’re never enough. They have a vision for life, but aren’t sure how to bring it together, especially after a life-changing event. They're also eager for change.
