I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Utah who has been practicing since 2015. I tend to take a direct approach but also show love and compassion to all of the clients I see no matter their age, race, gender, past, or present that prevents them from moving into their future. Within the practice I work in, Renova Wellness & Consulting, we specialize in trauma treatment and using various techniques to help clients live a live they deserve.
If your mind never shuts off and 'just relax' never seems to work for you, I help anxious adults and teens feel calmer in their own heads. I'm Chantel - a therapist in Pleasant Grove specializing in EMDR, men’s mental health, personal relationships, communication, and faith transitions. Whether you're wanting to heal and grow from a single event or breaking generational patterns. I blend EMDR and talk therapy to help you show up more fully in life, relationships, and even for yourself.
Populations I'm passionate to work with are adults healing from childhood wounds and survivors of traumatic events. I also enjoy working with children and teens to help them navigate the unique challenges they face today. I have a unique combination with two Masters Degrees, one in Social Work and one in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have extensive experience with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Hi there. I'm Amanda. I received my undergraduate degrees from the University of Utah in '99 and a masters degree from the University of Denver in'02. Currently, I have a private practice focusing on ages 15-adulthood. I also teach at the University of Utah graduate school of social work where I'm honored to connect with adult learners. I'm LGBTQI affirming and experienced in my practice.
In my free time you can find me skiing, surfing, paddleboarding, reading and baking.
Everyone deserves to have a trusted support or guide along life’s journey––counseling can be a place to find just that. Counseling can be like a cool drink of water in a desert oasis, helping you rejuvenate and find rest for your soul, while you’re working towards where you want to be.
I have a deep compassion for people. I am uniquely positioned from the experiences I've had in my life to have the privilege of walking with others on their healing journeys. I believe we all have the capacity for healing, which is a very individualized process. I love what I do and am privileged to do it!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I love animals and have two cats. I have a lot of interests including Yoga, dance, Tai Chi, traveling, art, and nature.
I am currently accepting new clients. I’m so glad you’re here. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly heard, respected, and understood. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, relationship challenges, grief, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, and family conflict. Whatever you’re carrying, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
I provide a non Judgmental, positive environment for all populations I serve. I have a no nonsense, direct approach to therapy.
I'm a Utah native who studied at the University of Utah in Pesychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I've worked primarily in substance abuse and addiction, which includes depression, anxiety, family issues, and communication - all the things that come with it. In my 11 years or practice, I've picked up a lot along the way.
I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and major life transitions. Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward, and are looking for support in finding more clarity, stability, and confidence in their lives.
I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about what’s going on and feel understood. I also work with relationship challenges, grief and loss, trauma, and identity-related concerns, including transitions related to values, direction, or life roles.
