I know what it’s like to want change and feel unsure where to begin. That’s why I created Oh Shift-a space to pause, breathe, and start again. As a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience, I bring clinical expertise grounded in genuine compassion. I don’t believe you’re broken, I believe you’re becoming. Your story matters, and this work is about helping you shift into the next version of yourself with clarity, confidence, and intention.
Some of the hardest seasons people walk through happen around the arrival of new life, the slow unraveling of a relationship, or the quiet grip of something they have never said out loud. I work across all of those seasons as a Licensed Professional Counselor serving children, adolescents, and adults.
Hello, I'm Lindsay Shelton. I have worked in the mental health field since 2017, beginning my career in crisis services supporting individuals and families through challenging seasons of life. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston–Clear Lake and my Master of Education from Lamar University. I have a passion for supporting women and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, infertility, maternal mental health, and major life transitions. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered.
Hi, I'm Jack. I'm a licensed clinical social worker with eight years of experience helping adults and adolescents in Texas navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. I grew up in Baltimore, trained at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, and now work virtually with clients across the state. My approach is designed to bring you safety and clarity in your life, past, present, and future. I genuinely enjoy getting to know the people I work with, and I believe every person has more capacity for change than they give themselves credit for. Choosing the right therapist can be an exhausting process. Even if you’re just thinking of maybe starting therapy, feel free to give me a call. I would love to speak with you and help you figure this all out!
Maybe you're carrying something you've never said out loud. Maybe you look fine from the outside and feel worn down underneath it. Either way, you don't need to arrive with the right words or an explanation.
I'm a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience. I work with people living with trauma and PTSD, including the aftermath of crime and moments of real crisis. A lot of my work also deals with the weight people carry from what the world expects of them: the pressures that come with being a woman or a man, the small daily slights, discrimination, and inequality that add up over the years.
Outside of session you'll usually find me running, on a yoga mat, or watching basketball. I'm convinced cooking and gardening count as therapy too.
Taking the first step toward change isn’t easy—but you’ve already done it by starting your search for a therapist.
Now, I invite you to take the next step and schedule your first appointment. Whether that’s with me or another provider, what matters most is that you commit to investing in yourself.
You deserve support, healing, and a space where you can grow. If you’re ready, I’m here to walk alongside you. My focus is on helping individuals clarify their vision for the future while building on their existing strengths to foster growth, resilience, and lasting change. I take a motivational and strengths-based approach to counseling, offering encouragement and support as you navigate your path through life’s challenges.
I believe therapy is a collaborative effort, and that, therapy works for those that work it. My ultimate goal is to assist clients in establishing attainable goals, and supporting them as they work to obtain improved functioning overall in their daily lives. I received both my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education from the University of St. Thomas, in Houston, and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2018.
Hi There! Donald Stiles is my name, but my friends call me Donnie. I'm a former active duty Marine turned Licensed Clinical Social Worker looking to continue my life of service to others that I once held while serving our country. Now, I'm serving on a much smaller scale, but no less important. Every single person that I serve now as a counselor is just as important as when I was serving the whole, and I will do my best to show you that I sincerely mean that.
People say I am a good listener so I will get to know you and the goals you bring to therapy

I’m passionate about helping people feel more confident in themselves and more connected in their relationships. I value honesty, curiosity, and creating a space where you don’t feel judged or rushed. Therapy with me is a place where you can show up as you are and start making sense of what you’re going through.
