My clinical decisions are grounded in current research, best practices, and your individual needs.
I believe in a collaborative and transparent treatment process. I value open communication. I want you to feel comfortable discussing your symptoms, concerns, and goals so we can work together to create a plan that truly supports your mental health.
I work well with children, adolescents and adults, parents, couples and families. I work with helping people improve their self concept, eliminating negative thoughts that disturb our peace of mind. I help people through transitions in their life, trauma, whether that be changes in school/work, relationships, grief and loss, moves, retirement, recreating themselves etc. I help individuals, couples and families communicate in a way that betters their interpersonal relationships. I work with past grief and traumas that get in the way of healthy life functioning. I help people move toward a balanced and happier overall way of life.
I offer an interpersonal style of therapy and I use many modalities and much experience to help individuals, couples and families work through difficulties they may be facing or helping work toward living a more aware, peaceful life. UT Tyler graduate with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2022. I've seen clients ranging from age 11 to 72. I completed my internship at Smith County Probation for two semesters and have been working at HopeLink Counseling, a group private practice, for over 3 years.
Volunteering has been vital to me since my teenage years; therefore, it was fitting that I choose therapy as my career. After completing a master's in counseling, I volunteered at Catholic Charities (Houston) to complete my hours for the license. In addition to CBT, DBT, and CPT, I have also added EMDR, among others, to complement my experience and desire for growth.
