Hello, I’m Tracy, a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 25 years of experience walking alongside children, teens, and families. Before becoming a therapist, I spent decades as a teacher, school counselor, and administrator—so I understand what it feels like when school stress, family changes, or big emotions start to feel overwhelming.
In our sessions, you’ll find a calm, welcoming space where you can exhale, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what’s going on. I work especially with teens and young adults facing anxiety, mild depression, school pressures, or life transitions like divorce or moving. Together, we slow things down, build practical coping skills, and create a path forward so you can feel more confident, steady, and in control again.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to be themselves. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University and have been practicing for nearly five years, with experience supporting individuals navigating trauma, including motor vehicle accident trauma and injury. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, honoring each person’s strengths while moving at a pace that feels right for you.
¡Hola científicos! ¡Bienvenidos! My name is Norma, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who loves science and specializes in helping children, teens, and families navigate challenges that come from living in the world today.
My counseling style is laid-back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome your obstacles. I am here to help you sort through the difficult things right now and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment.
What was your path to becoming a mental health provider?
I always had a desire to understand people and didn't realize there was a profession centered around my curiosity until college. I was also very intrigued with trying to understand my emotions growing up and because I struggled, I developed a desire to help others through their life challenges. I started providing support services to families and volunteers through a mentoring agency, which later led to interning at a psychiatric outpatient facility, to working with foster children providing therapy and to also growing my private practice here with Alma working with adults and children.
What should someone know about working with you?
I believe I am relatable and open to the sharing of myself with the understanding and expectation that you will be entrusting your vulnerabilities with me in session. I will challenge your thoughts, your patterns and your assumptions, and I give homework routinely as an extension of our time together to keep you active and engaged until we meet again.
How do you continue learning and building new skills?
I am committed to being a life-long learner. I take courses and trainings annually, listen to and learn from seasoned clinicians and try to stay afloat of new groundbreaking research related to treatments and techniques surrounding mental health.
"Success for me, is helping others create the wellness they desire."
I am a Army veteran and love helping people. I started this journey with my own mental health. I soon realized the power of this process. I did not realize I was always a counselor. It started as a Army Medic helping soldiers in Iraq and now I help everyone.
Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, parenting challenges, or a major life transition, it can feel exhausting trying to hold everything together while carrying so much on your own. You don't have to face those challenges alone. For more than 15 years, I've partnered with individuals experiencing anxiety, family issues, stress management, grief and loss, and trauma, helping them build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives. Working with adolescents and adults, I provide a warm, open minded environment where you can feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered to move forward with confidence while honoring the experiences that have shaped your journey.
Hi! I’m Vanessa! I’m a wife, Mom and entrepreneur. I’m also a psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in integrative psychiatry and women’s mental health. I run a niche mental health clinic called Kavah Wellness Psychiatry. I hold a bachelors degree, two masters degree and a doctor of nursing practice degree. I have almost a decade of experience in the mental health sector. I love everything mental health!
I love working with children, adolescents and adults who may struggle with anxiety, depression, family issues, or any other day-to-day challenges. My ideal client's goals would be for them to become the best version of themselves and be ready to work in and outside of therapy; wanting happiness, health, and overall a better sense of belonging and direction for their life.
