I graduated with honors from Southern Adventist University with my Masters in Psychiatric care. I started my career helping first responders deal with PTSD. I treat depression and anxiety, along with ADHD and much more. I have extensive experience in addictions of all types. I care about my patients, and you will not be just a number if you choose to have me as your provider.
Wife. Mother. Therapist. Navigator. I value my authentic self and believe we all can trace life’s imprints to dive into the core of who we are versus what life has conditioned us to be. I hone in on my abilities to help all you navigators explore whichever capacities it is that you seek to grow through, heal from, or transition into. You are not just another name, but a whole light. We are all perfectly imperfect. I truly believe you can become stronger through a healthier relationship with yourself and others when equipped with the proper navigational tools.
My current treatment focuses/ training are for perinatal mental health, and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT). I'm passionate about working with the BIPOC population, LGBTQ+ population, teens, young adults, and older as they learn how to navigate life’s challenges and transitions. I'm dedicated to working with those of various backgrounds and walks of life.

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Cookeville, TN
Searching for therapists in Cookeville starts with finding someone whose experience matches what you want support with. People look for therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, stress, and life transitions. As you compare a Cookeville therapist, look for listed specialties, therapy approaches, and the kinds of concerns they work with most often. Bios can also show whether a therapist uses approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or trauma-informed care.
In a smaller city like Cookeville, local in-person openings may be more limited than in larger Tennessee markets. Virtual therapy can expand your options while still connecting you with a therapist licensed in Tennessee. When narrowing your search, consider appointment times, whether the therapist is accepting new patients, and whether their communication style seems like a fit. Reading profiles before booking can help you understand what sessions may be like and whether a free phone consultation is available.
Therapy in Cookeville can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs. Headway helps you find therapists who match your needs and offer in-person or virtual care, and you can enter your insurance details to check coverage for specific providers. You can enter your insurance details to see an estimated cost before booking, then review bios and book directly when you’re ready.
