I have a passion for working with people and providing space and time for healing. Often the most hopeless situations are where the beauty will appear. That does not mean everything will be perfect, but it does mean you can learn to function well and enjoy your life.
Hi, I’m Logan (she/her/hers). I am a client-centered therapist who recognizes that every individual is unique. Therapy should meet you where you are, not fit you into a box. After retiring from the Army, I went back to school to obtain my masters of Social Work to help others who suffer from trauma and depression. My biggest inspiration for wanting to help others is the help that I have received along the way. It was after seeing my therapist who helped to guide me through gender, dysphoria, and my transition, that I begin my path that has led me here, wanting to help others. My guiding philosophy is that you deserve to treat yourself as good if not better than anyone else. When you feel good, others will feel good too.
I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, passionate about helping people find balance, healing, and peace of mind. I understand that reaching out for help can be a difficult decision, and my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood. I have personal and professional experience treating substance abuse, depression, and grief, and my passion is to help those who struggle.
I am the CEO and founder of The Ultimate Choice Consulting, LLC, and TUCC Initiative, a nonprofit organization. Factors to Consider When Choosing a Therapist in Charleston, SC
Searching for therapists in Charleston starts with knowing what kind of support you want and which therapist specialties match your needs. Charleston therapists may work with concerns like anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, stress, and life transitions. As you compare options, look for a therapist whose listed specialties, therapy approach, and experience match what you want to address. Bios can also show whether a therapist uses approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-informed care, or other forms of support.
In a smaller city like Charleston, local appointment options may vary by neighborhood, schedule, and specialty. Virtual therapy can expand your search beyond nearby offices while still connecting you with a therapist licensed in South Carolina. When comparing Charleston counseling options, consider whether a therapist is accepting new patients, offers appointment times that fit your calendar, and provides a free phone consultation. Reading profiles before booking can help you understand each therapist’s communication style, session structure, and areas of focus.
Therapy in Charleston, SC can be a significant investment without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and make mental health care more affordable. Headway helps you search for a Charleston, SC therapist who matches your needs, takes your insurance, and offers upfront cost estimates before you book.
