I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Clarity Psychiatry. I work with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, stress, and burnout. Hi! I’m Camille. Thank you for being here. For more than 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for individuals and families across many different healthcare settings—from emergency nursing and the COVID-19 pandemic response to travel and concierge nursing, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and outpatient psychiatry. After years of living and working in major cities, including New York and Los Angeles, I eventually found my way to California’s Sierra Nevada foothills. My own experiences shape the way I connect with people. I’m a mother, a first-generation immigrant, part of a multicultural family, and a member of a rural mountain community. A meaningful part of my work is with high-achieving adults—professionals, executives, graduate students, entrepreneurs, healthcare workers, and others who may appear to be doing well by every external measure while privately feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, burned out, or simply not quite like themselves. I also understand the unique weight that can come with intergenerational expectations, cultural identity, and learning to navigate more than one world at once.
I work well with anyone who seeks therapy and is ready to work on themselves. I have worked with about every population, culture and age group. Issues that I am best suited to treating include a wide variety of disorders, childhood trauma, addictions, domestic violence, parenting/bonding/interpersonal relationships. I certified in EMDR and expressive arts therapy. I like to offer different forms of expression to my clients in the healing arts. I also give plenty of skill building tools and homework so clients can maximize their progress outside of the weekly sessions. I speak Spanish fluently.
I help people carrying trauma, grief, or the weight of sexual abuse find steady ground again. For over two decades I've supported survivors of abuse and their families, walked alongside people through grief, bereavement, and the hardest parts of death and dying, and helped clients manage PTSD and personality disorders using a strengths-based approach. I trained at the University of Montana and Portland State University, and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oregon. If you're ready to feel supported while you do this work, I'd love to talk with you.
From the outside, it looks like you've got it handled: the job, the responsibilities, the reputation for being reliable. Underneath, your mind rarely slows down: replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions you've already made, feeling guilty when you try to rest.
I work with young adults with anxiety, perfectionism, and self-imposed pressure. A lot of my clients are exhausted by overthinking and frustrated that doing everything "right" hasn't actually brought them any peace.
Together, we'll figure out what's keeping that cycle going and build real tools for managing anxiety and pressure Not just insight, but things you can actually use. My style is direct, down-to-earth, and LGBTQ+ affirming.
Most people start out feeling like they're carrying more than they can hold. Over time, that tends to get lighter, more confidence in your own decisions, less dread before hard conversations, and a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks from the outside.
If you're ready to stop carrying this alone, I'd be glad to connect.
You deserve care that is thoughtful, evidence-based, and deeply personalized.
My approach is collaborative and holistic. I look beyond symptoms to understand the full picture of your life - including stressors, relationships, medical history, lifestyle, and personal goals. Whether you are seeking medication management, diagnostic clarity, or a more integrative approach to healing, we will create a plan tailored specifically to you.
Clients often describe my style as compassionate, thorough, and grounded. I believe in clear communication, shared decision-making, and ensuring you feel informed and empowered about your treatment options. My goal is not simply symptom reduction - it is helping you restore balance, confidence, and a meaningful quality of life.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin, you do not have to navigate it alone. Together, we will build a path toward emotional stability, mental clarity, and overall wellness.
I have a world class education, but there is more to me than that: There have been many iterations of "Alan" over the long years of my life. There is the drug addict that has walked the clean and sober path for 33 years. There is the truck driver and the tattoo artist, the husband (married 31 years), the father, the grandfather, the great grandfather, the foster father, the step-father. There is the Buddhist and the philosopher. I am reaching out to you. There is nothing you can tell me that will offend me.
And I can write a darned good introduction too! LOL!
I hope to meet you soon!
Extensive background and highly skilled in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression. Expertise in family systems, generational trauma and its impact, healing attachment disruptions, healing shame, trauma-informed, and interpersonal trauma recovery.
“Like a lotus flower, we too have the ability to rise from the mud, blossom out of the darkness, and radiate into the world.” I believe meaningful therapy begins with a space where you feel safe enough to show up as your full, authentic self. I work with adults, and some of the areas I have experience with include trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, and life transitions, among others. I offer LGBTQIA2S+ affirming care and warmly welcome clients exploring body image, sexuality, ethical non monogamy, polyamory, and other parts of authentic self expression.
Welcome! I'm Dr. Ben Osevwe, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with more than 22 years of experience in mental health care, including over 4.5 years as a PMHNP. I founded Solid Foundation Psychiatry with one mission: to provide compassionate, evidence-based, and personalized psychiatric care that empowers individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
I work with adolescents and adults ages 12 through 90, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy. I believe that effective mental health treatment goes beyond prescribing medication. Every visit is an opportunity to listen, educate, collaborate, and develop a treatment plan that reflects your unique goals, values, and life circumstances.
My clinical interests include ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), insomnia, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. Whether you're seeking help for the first time or have struggled with symptoms for years, I strive to create a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns.
I provide both in-person psychiatric care in Pearland, Texas, serving the greater Houston area, and telepsychiatry to patients in states where I am licensed. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with psychotherapy and lifestyle recommendations.
My philosophy is simple: Every person deserves to be heard, treated with dignity, and given the tools to thrive. I believe healing begins with a trusting relationship, open communication, and a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
It is a privilege to be part of your mental health journey, and I look forward to partnering with you to help you build resilience, restore hope, and achieve lasting emotional wellness.
