I completed my Master of Education in Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) from University of Cincinnati (2016), and have experience as a provider of ABA services. I have a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University(2020).

I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Ph.D. in Counseling, along with graduate training in both counseling and theology.

I work with men (gay, straight, bi, and curious) as they navigate identity, faith, mental health and vocation.

Over the years, I’ve worked as a therapist, college professor/administrator, coach, and educator, and that range of experience has shaped the way I approach counseling: with curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for the complexity of each person’s story. I have been licensed as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor since 2004 and have held a supervision designation since 2015. I have also held a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a supervision/training designation license since 2018. I have maintained a private counseling practice in Chillicothe since 2000 and I continue to work with individuals and families in that capacity. I have dedicated my career to helping others and to working with the community to ensure the well-being of families and children.

I am licensed in Ohio and board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and I work with adolescents and adults seeking accessible, professional mental health care.

With over 20 years of healthcare experience, I specialize in psychiatric medication management and the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD (treatment with non-stimulant medication), bipolar disorder, OCD, PTSD, mood disorders and related conditions.

My approach is patient-centered and collaborative, emphasizing shared decision-making, careful assessment, and individualized treatment planning.

Telehealth allows me to provide consistent, high-quality care while reducing common barriers such as travel, long wait times, and scheduling challenges. I take time to listen, explain treatment options clearly, and ensure patients feel informed and supported throughout their care.
