My name is Christina Dunne, LCSW. In my career thus far I have worked with adults with disabilities, adolescents with severe mental health concerns, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and trauma. My passion is helping clients to better understand themselves and why they are the way they are.
I got my BA in Psychology from SUNY Empire State College and my Masters of Social Work from Adelphi University.
My specialties are anxiety, depression, trauma work, and I often use cognitive and dialectical behavioral techniques in treatment.
With over ten years of clinical experience providing both individual and group counseling across diverse settings, I am well-equipped to support you through life's heaviest transitions. My background includes treating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, grief, and everyday life stressors where you just need an unbiased sounding board. Additionally, I am deeply well-versed in the specialized treatment needs of perinatal and postpartum populations, as well as first responders and Veterans.
A major focus of my practice is supporting women navigating the profound shifts of pregnancy, fertility challenges, and the postpartum period.
