Many people come to me feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burnt out, or simply “not like themselves.” Whether the root is mental health, hormones, or a mix of both, my goal is to help you understand what’s happening in your body and mind — and create a plan that actually helps you feel better.
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 13 years of experience treating complex chronic conditions, acute medical issues, and a wide range of mental health concerns. My background in the emergency room strengthened my ability to stay calm, think clearly, and support patients through some of their most difficult moments.
I am double board‐certified as an FNP‐BC and PMHNP‐BC, which allows me to integrate medical and psychiatric expertise. This means I look at the full picture — hormones, sleep, stress, mood, lifestyle, and physical health — to understand what’s driving your symptoms.
My approach is compassionate, practical, and evidence‐based. I take time to listen, explain things clearly, and work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your life. You deserve care that feels supportive, personalized, and focused on long‐term wellness.
If you’re ready to feel more balanced, focused, and in control again, I’m here to help you get there.
I’m Mary, a nurse practitioner with nearly 40 years of experience in healthcare, and caring for people across the lifespan has been at the heart of my work from the beginning. My journey has included women’s health and midwifery, emergency care, and ultimately psychiatric mental health, shaped by a deep belief that no one should have to struggle alone. Personal loss and witnessing gaps in mental health care strengthened my commitment to helping people before pain becomes overwhelming. Outside of work, I enjoy starting my mornings with quiet reflection, going on long-distance cycling adventures, and relaxing with some friendly Xbox competition alongside my husband and friends.
Sometimes life is hard...and sometimes, the word “hard” doesn't begin to cover it.
You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, lost, or simply tired of feeling the way you do. Maybe you know that experiences from your past are still affecting you today, or you find yourself repeating patterns you understand but can't seem to change. Other times, you may not know exactly what's wrong...you just know that something isn't working anymore.
Over the years, I've helped adults heal unresolved wounds from childhood, develop greater self-awareness and self-esteem, improve relationships, and make life-enhancing changes that allow them to feel more connected to themselves and the lives they want to live. I work with people navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and the everyday challenges that can leave us feeling overwhelmed.
I believe we all have the ability to grow and make meaningful changes in our lives. Sometimes we just need some help finding our strengths and figuring out what we need now.
Each of us has our own unique story and experiences. It's a privilege when someone chooses to share their story with me, and I'll meet you wherever you are in yours.

Hello. My name is Stephanie. I have been in healthcare and mental health for 35 years, 10 years in nursing, and 25 in counseling and therapy. I have been a high-risk labor and delivery nurse, a school district health director, an at-risk program developer, and a mental health counselor/therapist for children and adolescents with emotional, behavioral, and special needs and their parents. I now work primarily with an adult population. My experience has given me a broad understanding of people dealing with difficult issues and stressors in their lives. I am experienced in helping individuals with ADHD, change, adjustment, esteem, anxiety, trauma, and depression, and parenting. I am kind, gentle, empathetic, positive, funny and a good listener. I am also serious, thoughtful, holistic, client-centered, and solution-focused. My goal as a therapist is to help you find solutions to the Issues (problems) that have brought you to counseling. I want to help guide you through the process of determining the relevant issues, your wants and needs, and identifying skills and techniques to build solutions that can continue to serve you through, not only the immediate problem, but throughout life as well. My goal is to empower you through life's challenges, transitions and growth.
