With over 18 years of experience working in the mental health field, I am confident that together we can help you find what you need to start feeling better. As a mother and wife, I understand just how hectic and complicated life can be. I have a friendly, open, and nonjudgmental approach to those I work with. I believe that each person is just as unique as their challenges, and with some time and attention, we can find solutions that will help you on your way to feeling more at peace, with more control over your life.
I'm interested in helping you become your best, authentic self - whatever that looks like! Therapy is about relationships -- the relationship between therapist and client as well as the relationship the client has with themselves and others. My goal as a therapist is for you to feel seen, heard, and understood and to take that capacity and generalize it throughout your lived experience. As a therapist, I examine your memories, perceptions, and presence to paint a vibrant picture of who you are.
Nikki Day, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker and therapist with experience providing mental health services since 2019 through community mental health agencies, group practices, and private practice settings. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2020 and completed her clinical licensure requirements in 2025. Nikki is the founder of Vivant Counseling, LLC, where she works primarily with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. While maintaining a generalist approach, she has developed specialized experience supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and survivors of domestic and sexual violence. In 2026, she expanded her professional licensure to include both Utah and Nevada, allowing her to broaden access to mental health care across multiple states.
I received my Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Kansas in 2019. With experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, I provide individual and group therapy, crisis interventions, and support services. Trained in evidence-based therapies like TF-CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, SFT, and CBT, I tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and the owner of Night Owl Wellness. I hold a master's degree from the University of Utah.
I work with a wide range of adult populations, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, veterans, sexual trauma survivors, those with addiction, people with Autism/ADHD, and survivors of religious trauma. My personal and professional understanding of trauma's complex impact is what drives my passion for this work.
My therapeutic training includes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other eclectic and integrated interventions.
With 10+ years as an LCSW, I focus on trauma treatment so you can move forward and create a life you enjoy living with more regulated moods and empowerment of who you are!
