I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Designation (LPCC-S) in Ohio with nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I am also licensed to practice in Missouri and hold telehealth registration in Florida, allowing me to provide services to clients across multiple states. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Development from Walsh University and have spent my career working with individuals experiencing a wide variety of emotional, relational, and life challenges. In addition to my clinical work, I have experience in clinical leadership and supervision and serve as an adjunct faculty member in a graduate counseling program.
I especially enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, grief and trauma. I also have a particular passion for women's mental health, including helping women navigate the emotional and psychological challenges that can accompany hormonal and reproductive transitions. Areas of special interest include Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), postpartum emotional and mental health concerns, and perimenopause and menopause. I recognize how significantly these seasons can affect mood, anxiety, relationships, sense of self, and overall well-being—and how often women feel that these experiences are misunderstood or minimized.
My background as a hospital and school nurse, as well as a parent of adult children gives me a holistic view of individuals. Whether we are navigating relationships together, resolving grief, relieving anxiety or other concerns, I use my positive regard to see, hear and understand what my client is saying. I believe each of your sessions unfolds possibilities for healing. I am passionate about helping clients.
Are you looking for a therapist who understands your culture and speaks your language? I can help. I am fluent in Spanish, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor with 40 years of clinical experience. I work with adults, children, and adolescents, and I value each person’s cultural background, identity, and lived experience.
I get to know each client individually, so we can work collaboratively to come up with goals that we work toward at your pace, ebbing and flowing as your needs change. My clinical experience has included intensive in-home crisis stabilization therapy, complex trauma treatment, solution-focused brief therapy, and treatment of dual-diagnoses.
I moved to St. Louis, MO from Tampa, FL in 2019 to study Social Work at Washington University, and chose to make a home here with my spouse, child, and pets. I spend most of my leisure time cooking, gardening, reading, hiking, and going on crafting sprees. I also love to travel away from home, in search of grand museums and new foods.
As a fully licensed therapist for 4+ years Ashley has had experience working with a wide range of clients. Recently she has begun to focus on women's health, ADHD and those with addiction issues.
I work primarily with adults experiencing substance use, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology with 9 years of experience in private practice, inpatient substance use clinics, and community based mental health centers.
If you feel stuck in toxic relational loops, exhausted by chronic stress, or weighed down by trauma, you don't have to carry it alone. Healing after emotional abuse, narcissistic dynamics, or toxic family systems requires more than standard talk therapy—it takes validation, practical strategy, and real clarity. I work with individuals, married couples, families, and First Responders dealing with issues of shame, depression, anxiety, relational difficulties and sexual brokenness, work/family struggles, anxiety, grief, and spiritual confusion. I am experienced in Christian counseling for those who would like to engage with their faith in counseling. I also specialize in Narcissistic Abuse Recovery.
Welcome!

One of the most rewarding parts of therapy is experiencing those "aha" moments—when a realization, insight, or new understanding suddenly brings clarity to a complicated life experience. These moments often provide direction, open new possibilities for change, and inspire hope for healing and growth.
