My motto is rooted in Philippians 3:13-14, "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended; but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those which are before, I press towards the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Kayla, a licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in community mental health, recognized the profound disparities in access to mental health care within BIPOC communities. The organization collaborates with a diverse team of mental health professionals who not only possess clinical expertise but also understand the unique cultural nuances and challenges faced by the BIPOC community.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting people through life’s challenges. I love working with people and deeply respect diversity, openness, and authenticity. I believe everyone has the capacity to flourish when given the right support and space. My approach is warm, open‐minded, and centered on helping you feel seen and empowered.
Therapy with me isn't about me telling you what to do or handing you a workbook and calling it healing. What I've learned in doing this work since 2016 — in community mental health centers, residential programs, child welfare — is that people don't need more advice. They need someone who will actually sit with them in the hard stuff and help them figure out their own way through.
I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, codependency, relationship struggles, and life transitions — including the ones nobody warned you about. I'm based in Mississippi and see all my clients via telehealth through Headway's platform, which means you get the same quality care from your living room that you'd get in any office.
You don’t have to pretend you’re okay here.
You shouldn’t have to filter yourself in therapy. Maybe anxiety has become hard to manage. Maybe depression has left you feeling disconnected, unmotivated, or unlike yourself. Maybe trauma or painful life experiences are still affecting your relationships, emotions, or daily choices. Or maybe you’ve been carrying things for so long that you’re not even sure where to start.
I’m Kristopher, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, stress, self-esteem issues, and life transitions.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive, judgment-free space where you can be honest about what you’re feeling, better understand what has been weighing on you, and begin moving toward a healthier, more grounded version of yourself.
If anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship stress, or the challenges of living with a health disability have been weighing on you, you do not have to sort through it alone. Therapy can be a space to feel understood, gain clarity, and move forward with more confidence. I work to create a warm, respectful environment where you can be yourself, feel heard, and build on your strengths. Together, we can work toward meaningful change in a way that feels supportive, personalized, and realistic for your life.
My commitment to you is simple: I will listen carefully, communicate openly, and act with integrity in every interaction. I’ll take the time to understand your unique goals, challenges, and values, and I’ll tailor my approach to meet your needs rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions. You can expect transparency from me at every step. I’ll explain not only what I recommend, but why I recommend it, so you always feel informed and empowered to make decisions.
With my education and experience; both personal and professionally, I am able to connect and provide care to a diverse group of people of all ages. I am a mother of four grown children and have ten grandchildren. I've experienced loss, hardship, as well as healing. I enjoy helping others reach their full potential and live his or her best life.
