With twenty years experience, I am passionate in working with adults, couples and children around relationship needs, family dynamics, and developing a stronger sense of self as a person, partner and/or parent.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing comprehensive mental health care across diverse populations. My background includes extensive work in behavioral health emergency settings, partial hospitalizations, IOP, recovery care, community psychiatric care. I also have experience supporting dually diagnosed patients with co-occurring medical conditions, giving me a broad perspective on the complex interplay between mental and physical health.
I earned my PMHNP degree from Post University and hold PMHNP licensure in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to evidence-based care, while continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and growth in the mental health field.
As a LMHC and Art Therapist, my work is rooted in the belief that creative expression can be a powerful pathway to healing, insight, and personal growth. My use of art therapy offers a unique way to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Through the creative process you can safely examine experiences, reduce stress, and access deeper self-understanding. No artistic skill or background is needed the focus is on expression, not perfection.
I have experience supporting adults, young adults, and adolescents across outpatient, school-based, and healthcare settings. My work often centers on anxiety, ADHD, neurodivergence, emotional regulation, identity development, relationship patterns, and life transitions. I also bring a background in art therapy, which informs my ability to offer flexible, creative, and reflective ways of working with clients. I especially enjoy supporting people who are trying to better understand themselves, build self-trust, and move through life with more clarity and authenticity.
I am a seasoned clinician with over 20 years’ experience working with adults and older adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, family/relationship issues, grief, loss, career fatigue and other life stressors. I think of therapy as a partnership between client and therapist. I especially enjoy working with individuals and couples that feel “stuck,” are in crisis, or who are going through periods of difficult life transition. Through active listening and practical solution focused guidance, I lead clients on a path towards growth, change, and greater self-acceptance.
With over 11 years of experience in the mental health field, I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your full, authentic self without judgment and without having to navigate life’s challenges alone. I am a licensed psychologist and have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families across hospitals, schools, and community settings, working with people from diverse backgrounds and at many different stages of life.
As a mental health counselor I am here to support you, be sympathetic and non-judgmental through your journey. Life can be challenging and at times all we need is compassion and a safe place to express ourself. I work with my patients and meet them where they are and help them focus on the areas that they identify that needs change or maintenance.
I’m a licensed therapist who believes therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and real. I work with adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem issues, with a focus on helping you feel more grounded and confident in your day-to-day life. My approach is practical and compassionate—I help you understand patterns, build coping skills, and make changes that fit your life. Are you having difficulty adjusting to a new environment, relationship, identity, or phase of life? Do you overanalyze social interactions or struggle to connect with others? I have worked in community mental health, college counseling, and private practice settings. I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions and relational concerns. As a queer-identified therapist, I am also dedicated to working with LGBTQ+ folks, and affirming of kink and ENM/polyamory as well.
I have worked in several clinical and therapeutic settings including working in private practice for several years, and having had the unique opportunity to work with underprivileged folks in a correctional setting both in an individual therapy and group therapy capacity.
