I'm a Massachusetts LICSW who works with people who've had to be strong for a long time - youth, neurodivergent adults, LGBTQIA+ folks, parents, and people navigating poverty, grief, burnout, trauma, or substance use. I bring lived experience to this work, not just credentials. I'm direct, warm, and genuinely invested in the people I work with. I do telehealth only, which means sessions are on your schedule, in your space, no commute required.
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Beginning or continuing therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, validated, and genuinely understood.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship concerns, and other life stressors. I have a particular interest in supporting LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients. I am also a mother with extensive clinical experience working with children, teens, and their families.
Hello!
I proudly bring lived experience to the table, so I know a different life than comes in textbooks. It increases my odds of understanding you better and of being able to develop unique strategies for you in a shorter amount of time. I've wanted to work in mental health since I was a child, and bring that enthusiasm to my work. Hope to see you soon.
I've been doing this work for 25 years — which means I've sat with a lot of people in a lot of different kinds of pain, and I've watched most of them find their way through it. I work with adolescents, adults, and families dealing with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ identity, cultural identity, and the messy overlaps between all of those things. I'm warm, direct, and probably a little funnier than you'd expect from a therapist. That's intentional. Some of the hardest healing I've witnessed happened in moments that also had some lightness in them. I'm LGBTQ+ affirming, work with couples and families in addition to individuals, and I accept Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, and Cigna through Headway — plus several additional insurers on Psychology Today.
I’m a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) prepared Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who earned my doctorate from Elms College. I have over 10 years of experience in mental health care and nearly 19 years in the nursing field. Throughout my career, I have worked in inpatient, outpatient and community settings. I have experience supporting an treating a wide range of individuals, from young adults to older adults and geriatric patients.
I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you can be yourself without judgment. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, and I believe you are the expert on your own life. Together, we will explore your challenges, build practical coping skills, and work toward goals that are meaningful to you. I strive to provide unconditional positive regard and support you at a pace that feels comfortable and empowering.
I work with people of all ages who are trying to make sense of what's going on in their lives and figure out what needs to change. They may be dealing with stress, relationship difficulties, major transitions, attention or learning difficulties, or patterns they've struggled to change on their own. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in business and other practical, people-focused roles, which gave me a firsthand understanding of the competing demands and pressures of everyday life.
As a licensed independent clinical social worker, I believe in meeting clients where they are at and helping them to achieve their goals. I am a Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (C-DBT) and have extensive experience working with the neurodivergent community, having received certification as an Autism Specialist (ASDCS). In the past I have worked with those who have ASD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, language-based challenges, executive functioning, social cognition, social pragmatics, family dynamics, and self esteem.

If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, depressed, stuck, or worn down by stress, trauma, relationships, or health concerns, therapy can help you find a clearer path forward. I’m a licensed psychologist who works with adults, with clinical and academic experience at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
