I am passionate about working with people to understand and overcome things such as anxiety, depression, coping with issues relating to the Covid pandemic, anger and mitigating substance use.

I worked in community health for several years as a bilingual nurse practitioner and place great value in providing culturally competent care.

As a licensed independent clinical social worker, I believe in meeting clients where they are at and helping them to achieve their goals. I am a Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (C-DBT) and have extensive experience working with the neurodivergent community, having received certification as an Autism Specialist (ASDCS). In the past I have worked with those who have ASD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, language-based challenges, executive functioning, social cognition, social pragmatics, family dynamics, and self esteem.

I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I earned both my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Columbia University. My clinical training includes experience in outpatient community health, school-based mental health, private practice, and child, adolescent, and adult inpatient psychiatry. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in a detox and rehab facility serving individuals with substance use disorders, including low-income, formerly incarcerated, and unhoused populations.

I’m a dual certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner with a treatment focus on OCD, anxiety and depression. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, supported and empowered in your care.

For the past 3.5 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading a multi-site inpatient unit, supporting individuals with persistent mental illness and substance use as they work toward stability and recovery. Now, I’m stepping into private practice and writing my next chapter. I’m licensed in Florida and passionate about making care accessible and meaningful. I earned my degree in psychology, and a gap year with Jesuit Volunteer Corps in a social justice setting led me to social work. I use a systems approach, meaning I look at the personal, family, and life factors affecting your well-being. My background in foster care, crisis work, community-based care, and therapy gives me a collaborative, well-rounded perspective.
