I believe that everyone deserves to be heard, regardless of their background or circumstances. Whether you are struggling with excessive worry or negative thoughts, overwhelmed by schoolwork as a student, supporting a family member with autism or developmental disability, or facing challenges as a member of a marginalized group in society, it is common to feel hopeless and worthless at times. However, you do not have to give in to these feelings.

Hello,

My name is Emily Kronhaus, I am a cisgender female and my pronouns are she/her/hers and they/them/theirs. I have worked in education and counseling for over a decade, and I've come to believe that therapy isn't just about managing symptoms. Therapy is also about understanding yourself, your relationships, and the world you're navigating.

Maybe you're doing pretty well on paper, but something still doesn't feel quite right. Your career may be going well (or not), but your relationships don't feel as fulfilling as you'd hoped. You may be questions who you are, what you want, or whether the life you've built actually reflects the person you've become.

I work with people who are navigating questions of identity, fulfillment, relationships, and how to live more authentically within the systems and expectations around them. Sometimes that means figuring out what you actually want. Sometimes it means learning to make space for your own needs and voice. Other times it means understanding how your relationships, family, culture, work, or larger systems have shaped the way you see yourself.

Through out my career I have experience supporting people through anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions relationship challenges, and questions of identity. My approach is collaborative, curious, and grounded in the belief that there isn't one "right" way to be a person or have a relationship.

Therapy doesn't have to be about fixing what's wrong with you. Sometimes it's about understanding yourself differently, questioning expectations that no longer fit, and learning how to build a life and relationship that feel more like your own.

Many of the people I work with are high-functioning adults who appear to be managing life well from the outside but are privately struggling with anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, ADHD, or major life transitions. I have a particular interest in men's mental health and helping professionals navigate the pressures that come with demanding careers, relationships, and family responsibilities. I work with adults, and can support parenting and divorce-related work, as well.

I’m Amanda, and I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a place where they can show up exactly as they are. I bring warmth, authenticity, and even a bit of humor into the room when it feels right. I want you to feel genuinely seen—not judged—and supported in whatever you’re working through.

I’ve been in the counseling field for over 15 years and hold a PhD in Counselor Education from the University of Tennessee. My experience ranges from private practice and telehealth to correctional mental health, hospitals, and leadership roles in community programs. A. Simms Resume copy

I work with adults experiencing mood challenges, anxiety, identity concerns, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ experiences, as well as individuals who are justice-involved or adjusting to major life changes. My approach integrates CBT, ACT, and Reality Therapy, giving us room to explore both deeper patterns and practical skills.

Clients describe me as encouraging, steady, and real—someone who helps them feel grounded and capable while taking meaningful steps toward a more balanced and authentic life.
