Finding a provider can be challenging, overwhelming, and at times embarrassing. I have been in treatment for over 20 years, which prompted me to want to support other people like me. I am proficient in DBT as these skills have saved my life.
I am a woman in recovery, have been in psychiatric units, have a child with another woman, and attempted to end my life. I am healing everyday and you are part of that process.
I have worked with a variety of populations. I am passionate about working with other mental health professionals struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. I am honored to work with first responders (fire fighters, police, paramedics, doctors, etc). You are not alone. I understand the complex dynamics associated with seeking help.
I truly love this work and feel honored to support people in their journeys. As a therapist, I bring warmth, humor, and a deep understanding of sexuality, relationships, and identity. Whether you're working through past hurts or discovering new parts of yourself, I’ll meet you where you are with kindness and care.
I graduated from Smith College School of Social Work in Northampton, MA, in 2002 and have been helping people with various mental health issues since that time. I have been trained in psychodynamic therapy, DBT, mindfulness, and Somatic Experiencing, among other modalities.

I do my best work with adolescents and adults. My experience spans over 30 years. I focus on each person's strengths and provide support by bolstering their resilience and courage. Together we move toward change and greater health.
As a LMHC and Art Therapist, my work is rooted in the belief that creative expression can be a powerful pathway to healing, insight, and personal growth. My use of art therapy offers a unique way to explore thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Through the creative process you can safely examine experiences, reduce stress, and access deeper self-understanding. No artistic skill or background is needed the focus is on expression, not perfection.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, educator, and artist. I am skilled and experienced in supporting people working on issues of self-esteem/worth, traditional and non-traditional relationship issues, sexual wellness, body-positivity, grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, recovery, life transitions, family issues, and more.
The work we do will be directed by the Person-Centered, Rogerian principles of unconditional positive regard, empathy, and belief in authentic human connection.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and developmental specialist with 15 years of experience supporting children, caregivers, and families. My background includes working as an in-home clinician in Early Intervention (EI), where I supported multicultural families in their homes and across a variety of settings, including shelters, daycares, and foster care. I worked with children with a wide range of developmental needs, including neurodivergent children, while supporting child development, family dynamics, and practical strategies to address everyday challenges.
I specialize in working with children through young adulthood (age 22).
This experience has strengthened my ability to meet each child and family where they are and provide individualized, culturally responsive support.. Today, I especially enjoy working with teenagers and young adults as they navigate identity, relationships, transitions, stress, and the growing responsibilities of adulthood. I speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and I strive to create a space where each client feels respected, understood, and comfortable being themselves.
I have been working with teens and young adults for over 20yrs, mostly in group homes. I specifically work with people who have experienced trauma and lived in foster care. I think it is important for you to have choice and control of your life, and that many systems and therapy have often not been helpful. I want to try something different.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist and career counselor. I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, adjusting to college life and career challenges. I also have experience counseling clients with medical illnesses including Long Covid. My therapy style has been described as warm and engaging; I believe in creating a safe space with respect, compassion and open dialogue necessary to building trust.
I especially enjoy working with clients who are ready to take that first step toward change, even if they aren’t quite sure where to begin. You don’t need to have all the answers or know exactly what you want to work on to get started. What matters most is a willingness to show up, remain open to new perspectives, and explore the parts of yourself and your experiences that may be difficult to face. Therapy can involve digging deep, challenging familiar patterns, and sitting with uncomfortable feelings, but it can also lead to meaningful growth and a deeper understanding of yourself.
I work with people of all ages who are trying to make sense of what's going on in their lives and figure out what needs to change. They may be dealing with stress, relationship difficulties, major transitions, attention or learning difficulties, or patterns they've struggled to change on their own. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in business and other practical, people-focused roles, which gave me a firsthand understanding of the competing demands and pressures of everyday life.
