When was the last time you felt truly heard? Life can feel as though you're stuck in a maze without a map or sense of purpose. You may feel broken, alone, or depressed, but you're not. I've successfully helped clients work through challenges, learn effective coping skills, and view life in a realistic, positive way. I've helped clients with chronic illness maximize their quality of life. We'll set up a plan that meets your current needs, then empower you to reach your goals, together.
If you're carrying anxiety that won't quiet down, grief that feels impossible to move through, or a weight that makes everyday life feel harder than it should, you're in the right place. I work with adults and people across all stages of life who are ready to feel more like themselves again. My approach is grounded in warmth and a deep belief that you are the expert on your own life. There's no judgment here, only a supportive space where you can say what you've been holding back.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credentialed by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists. I completed my Bachelor’s degree (B.S. in Psychology) at Towson University in 2013 and received my Master’s degree (M.S.) in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University in 2016. I am passionate about helping others conquer their challenges and transcend their goals. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends, loved ones, and her dogter, Lila. My favorite self-care activities include going to concerts, traveling, kayaking, cooking, and experimenting with different types of mocktails and coffees.
With years of nursing and mental health experience, I bring both expertise and compassion to my work. I help clients explore their thoughts and emotions while setting practical, achievable goals. I specialize in supporting people through anxiety, stress, and life transitions. Together, we’ll build insight, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.
Hello,
My name is Kirsten T. Jackson and I am the owner of Grace Carries Wellness Collaborative and Consulting. My practice’s identity is centered in the belief that individuals have the power to create the change they want to see in their lives through understanding, grace and self awareness. I believe that when these three self regarding behaviors are consistently practiced individuals can better acknowledge and honor their “core self”.
I received my medical education in Paris, France.
I arrived in the US in 1982 and completed my psychiatric residency at Temple University Hospital, in Philadelphia in 1989.
IN 2010, I completed a forensic psychiatry fellowship in Portland, Oregon.
I have worked as a staff psychiatrist within the Maryland state mental health system for 23 years.

Happiness and joy isn't a fairytale. Let's figure out how you can experience it.
A combination of lived experiences, years of training, and witnessing the lack of comprehensive and inclusive sexual education has centered my clinical priorities on LGBTQ+ clients and clients working through sexual health matters (including sexual exploration, gender and sexuality, non-monogamy, and healing from sexual trauma).
Reaching out for help can be difficult, but you don't have to do it alone. I support children, teens, and adults managing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and stress. My aim is to create a safe, supportive environment where you can be authentic. Together, we'll craft a personalized treatment plan to help you feel healthier, more confident, and in greater control of your life.
