If you're reading this, there is a chance that you need an outlet, a safe space, as you're carrying more than you allow others to see. Is it worsening depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or stress? Maybe life itself has become exhausting, relationships feel harder than they should, or you're navigating seasons of change that has left you lost, disconnected, or uncertain. Whatever it is, I offer a safe space with warmth and compassion with the ease of not having to figure it out alone.
You deserve a chance to heal, persevere, and overcome obstacles that hinder you from your best self. One of bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own story, truth, no matter how it looks. I look forward to being apart of your journey.
Therapy can be a powerful place to recenter, build skills, and dive deeper - so congrats on taking that first step. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years of experience supporting clients in a variety of settings, including schools and outpatient hospital clinics. Over the last 7 years, I have focused my work on adolescents and young adults ages 14–25 who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, school challenges, identity development, and the pressure of figuring out who they are and where they are headed. My goal is to provide a supportive and neuro-affirming space where you can better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and build skills that help you feel more grounded and confident!

Factors to Consider When Choosing a Family Therapist in Shreveport, LA
Finding family therapists in Shreveport starts with understanding what your family wants support with. Family therapy can help with parenting conflict, adolescent struggles, blended family dynamics, communication challenges, and tension across generations. Family therapists are trained to work with the relational system, not just one person. As you compare therapists, look for listed specialties, training, and approaches that match what your family is navigating.
In a mid-size city like Shreveport, your options may include therapists with local offices and therapists who offer virtual sessions across Louisiana. In-person care may work well when everyone can attend from the same location, while virtual sessions may make scheduling easier when family members live in different places or have different routines. Session attendance can also vary, from the full family to smaller groups or individual members. Reading therapist bios can help you understand how each therapist structures family sessions, communicates with family members, and approaches fit before you book.
Family counseling services in Shreveport can be a significant cost without insurance. Using in-network insurance is one of the most reliable ways to reduce session costs and understand your expected out-of-pocket expense before care begins. Headway helps you find therapists who match your needs, accept a wide range of insurance plans, and are accepting new patients, so you can review bios, compare availability, and book directly when you’re ready.
If anyone in your family is experiencing or worried about abuse, threats, or coercion, joint family or couples therapy usually isn't the right starting point — individual support is safer. The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline (1-800-422-4453) and National Domestic Violence Hotline (1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788\) can help you think through next steps.
