I help people struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, and other mental health concerns. I know talking to someone new about your mental health can feel uncomfortable, so I try to keep things relaxed, open, and judgment-free.

Hello! I am Ellen Heckerman, LSCSW, I have 48 years' experience in counseling with families, and individuals, both adults and children. I enjoy helping clients become their best self and beginning to flourish. Some of the areas I specialize in are Family therapy, marital therapy, treating ADHD in adults and children, treating depression and anxiety, and adjustment disorders . I am a Christian counselor and I can work with you from a faith-based perspective if you like.

I have a Master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Mary. I am transitioning from community mental health to private practice where I believe I can make a greater impact for others and their mental health needs
