I am Jesmond Fair, born and raised in rural Alabama and later became an alumnus of The University of Alabama. I completed all my graduate training at UGA and am calling Atlanta home. I am a gay Black Christian cis-gender male. For most moments of the day, I have a random song on repeat in my head. This can be attributed to my background in vocal and instrumental music. I believe in being real. So, clients can expect facial reactions, slang, occasional profanity, laughter, and even tears.
I am a Licensed Holistic Clinical Mental Health Counselor and the founder of Be Transformed Counseling. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with holistic practices, while providing a safe, non-judgmental space for growth. I support clients navigating stress, life transitions, emotional pain, and personal transformation. It is my honor to walk alongside you as you pursue clarity, healing, and lasting change.
Thank you for reading my profile and considering my services. It would be an honor to help you with the issues causing you distress and unhappiness. Counseling is not just a job for me, it's a calling. After an extraordinary career in Human Resources, both domestically and internationally, I've found my true passion in counseling. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Human Services, I completed Certified Peer Specialist training during the semester break from my Master's program. I earned my Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia. Whether you’re battling your inner critic, processing trauma, or just trying to survive in a neurotypical or cis-normative world, I’m here to support your growth, healing, and self-discovery. Therapy doesn’t have to be sterile or detached—we can bring your fandoms, creativity, and passions into the room as tools for healing.
If your child is struggling with big feelings, hard behaviors, or school-related stress, you have found a safe place. I have worked alongside kids, teens, and their families since
2005, creating a playful, welcoming space where they can finally feel understood. I draw from play therapy, AutPlay, and creative approaches tailored to your child's
personality and developmental stage. I also partner with caregivers, teachers, and other supports so your child is not doing this work alone. My goal is to help them
understand themselves better, build confidence, and feel more in control of their emotions and choices.
Greeting!
I am a seasoned professional continuing to study and learn the most impactful ways to lessen human suffering and promote self love in all. Beginning my practice decades ago as a combat trauma therapist, I have found myself dealing with the traumas of early life and relationships with most my adolescent and adult clients. I believe counseling can offer many “tools”, to cope, however, I prefer to help people heal so that coping becomes an infrequent need.
Hello! I am so glad you're here.
I invite you to dance with these words as I share a bit more about myself! I am a licensed professional counselor, board-certified dance movement therapist, certified movement specialist & educator, certified professional clinical supervisor, and a certified Chi for Two® Embodiment Coach.
I completed my MA in Dance/Movement Therapy & Counseling from Columbia College Chicago, after teaching dance, working with at-risk youth and performing professionally in England and the Republic of Ireland for several years. I have a passion for music, poetry and gardening, cooking, languages and travel. I am in awe of how richly culture enlivens our energetic dances.
I maintain a private psychotherapy practice, provide clinical supervision, and serve as an educator and public speaker. I am an active member of the American Dance Therapy Association Southern Chapter, and the Atlanta dance community.

I was born and raised in one of Nigeria’s vibrant and bustling cities, where I learned the values of community, resilience, and compassion from an early age. Inspired by a deep desire to make a difference in people’s lives, I pursued my education in health care. This journey has been a blessing and a privilege, allowing me to work in health care and provide care for the people I love and serve.
My family and I have built a home filled with love and laughter. They bring joy and inspiration to my life every day. I'm excited to support my clients in bringing that same love and joy and laughter back into their own lives.
I work with individuals, couples, and families facing relationship strain, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and family conflict. I’m especially passionate about helping you better understand yourself and your patterns in relationships so you can create meaningful, lasting change in your everyday life.
Life brings seasons of change, and you don't have to navigate them alone. I work with individuals, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, family issues, grief and loss, and relationship challenges, while also supporting concerns such as ADHD, bipolar disorder, panic disorders, stress management, trauma, identity issues, men's issues, and cultural or ethnic concerns. I welcome children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and I strive to create a space where every person feels heard, respected, and understood. Whether you're facing a difficult transition, navigating conflict in your relationships, or looking for healthier ways to cope, my goal is to help you gain clarity, strengthen your relationships, and move toward lasting emotional well-being.
