My journey started with volunteering in the Guidance Counselor's office at my high school. In this setting, my emotional intelligence and level of empathy began to grow. I decided to study Psychology to understand how the mind works, then studied Social Work to understand how that mind works when affected by events in the environment. I have worked extensively with children/ students, the LGBTQIA+ community, people living with HIV/ AIDS, the elderly, Veterans, Immigrants, couples and families. I accept clients no matter their race, gender, ethnicity or background. I utilize a strength- based approach for my clients as I believe we all have the ability to take control of our own lives.

I earned my Masters in Rehabilitation Professional Counseling at Georgia State in 2011 and my Bachelors in Psychology from Kennesaw State in 2006. For the past 11 years, I have been providing counseling and assessment services for a variety of clients. As a counselor, I am well-versed in depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, and trauma. I am a LGBTQ+, kink, and polyam-friendly therapist.

I am a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider. I am trained to provide individual, couples, and family counseling for adolescents and adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, depressive disorders, and trauma- and stressor-related conditions.

I have a particular passion for supporting children and families healing from trauma and disrupted attachment. I have extensive experience providing attachment-focused therapy for adopted children, children in foster care, and their caregivers — working alongside families to strengthen emotional bonds, improve communication, build trust, and address behavioral concerns.

With more than 20 years of experience, I've worked across private practice, community-based mental health, managed care, substance abuse treatment, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. I bring warmth and steady expertise to every stage of the healing process.
