I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what is happening in your life without feeling judged, while also receiving the support and guidance needed to create meaningful change. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, substance use concerns, and patterns that leave them feeling stuck or disconnected from the life they want to be living.

My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I value creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel comfortable being themselves, while also being appropriately challenged to look at patterns that may no longer be serving them. For clients who desire it, I am also comfortable incorporating Christian faith and spirituality into therapy while maintaining evidence-based clinical care.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker, military veteran, and military spouse, and I've spent much of my career working with people who are very good at carrying a lot. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, major life transitions, motherhood, and the pressures that come with demanding roles and relationships. My clinical background includes years of providing and leading behavioral health care in military settings, which has shaped the way I understand resilience, identity, relationships, and what can happen when pressure begins to build. I want therapy to be a place where you can put some of that responsibility down and give some of that attention back to yourself--not another place where you have to hold everything together.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Master Certified Addiction Professional with a deep passion for motivating and advocating for my clients. I hold a master’s degree in Educational Psychology, a second master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling from Barry University.

I don't believe anyone's story is ever over. Life can leave us carrying burdens we never expected. Anxiety, depression, broken relationships, grief, trauma, addiction, or simply the weight of holding everything together can make it feel like peace is out of reach. But I believe that pain does not define you, and it does not get the final word. As a Christian counselor, it is my mission to help people find hope and strength in the middle of life's hardest moments. Healing doesn't pretend the past never happened, but it does mean that your wounds don't have to control your future. I utilize a mix of evidence based practices, which includes trauma informed care, that align with God's design to help you get as close as you can to the peace you were designed to live with.
