I want you to know that my role is to support you with compassion, respect, and evidence‐based care. I take the time to listen closely so I can understand what you’re experiencing and what matters most to you. My approach is collaborative—I believe treatment works best when we make decisions together. I’m here to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and feel heard. My goal is to help you move toward stability, confidence, and a better quality of life.
Hi, I’m Liz! I help clients heal from past trauma and uncover the root of what’s keeping them feeling stuck. Trauma can shape the way you see yourself, others, and the world—often showing up as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or difficulty setting healthy boundaries.
My work focuses on addressing these deeper patterns to support lasting healing and meaningful personal growth. For those who desire it, I also offer the option to integrate Christian faith into the counseling process.
I believe therapy should not only be effective but also feel human and approachable. We’ll roll up our sleeves and do the work together, while also making space for moments of lightness along the way.
For the past five years, I have dedicated my practice to serving the Veteran community. This work has given me deep insight into the resilience of the human spirit and the specialized care required to treat the "invisible wounds" of service. Whether you are a Veteran or a civilian navigating past trauma, I provide a grounded, expert-led space to help you move from surviving to thriving. My background as a researcher and author provides me with a unique lens on how the brain works. I am a mental health advocate, have led large-scale government-funded grants on the brain, and hosted regular mental health segments on FCN and WJXT
